It's not wise to detach the switch while the kickstand is out (i.e. pushing against the switch). There is a force from the kickstand on the switch that pushes the switch along and therefore bends the 2 screws when they are coming loose. So the threads on the screws get spoiled. I also put short screws in the threaded hole finally, because the threads would be exposed to the elements at the bottom side of the bike. (And I always use al lot of multi-purpose grease in that areas. There are a lot of rusty Brixtons to be seen when you look out for them.)
I have a problem with my peugeot fox. The backwheel can go way more than 36kmh when its on stand but when driven it only goes 36kmh and does not rev full out. sounds like a metal sound when it obstruct the bike. half throttle is the same. still metal sound but less rev and same speed. pls help
I just changed my exhaust, but it is leaking a bit of black oil from where it attaches to the engine. when i plug it while running idle it doesn't stall. does this mean I have a leak?! Or is it normal
Thank you for the informative videos on Brixton motorcycles. Where I live, I do not have a registered Brixton service centre and the local mechanics do not prefer to work on ''chinese'' bikes. I would be grateful if you could point me to the probable causes of issues. :) Lately, I feel the bike vibrates a lot even after an oil change. Winter or summer, I always wait untill the bike warms up (until it reaches idling). I was thinking of replacing the spark plug? What do you suggest? or could it be totally something else. Secondly, I hear lose metalic parts vibrating sound on the left part of the engine. I am guessing near the gearbox. I opened and retightened the output gear and the cover. But the sound still persists. what could be the possible reason? Thanking you in advance. :)
I'm a new rider, and I'm about to buy the Felsberg 125 xc. That was a helpful video and I will keep the mods in mind! Thanks a lot for the honest review
I think it would work. I bought this one and it says for a fox and a 103 www.motorkit.com/nl/moteur/24474-piston-zuiger-wallaroo-peugeot-103-fox-speedfight-ludix-buxy-standard.html
Thanks for the great video. It's very hard to find videos for this motorcycle! I have yet to find anywhere that sells/offers the shop manual. Not the user manual, that I have. Do you have the shop/service manual? If so where did you get it?
That's old school, nice . If i may give you some advice, on the arm that's on top , add a longer bolt , to make up the difference between the two bolts. Also is there anyway you can get another Piaggio moped, maybe a Grande super deluxe from the 70's
