Y'all act like I didn't spend a year messing with carbs 😁 That's why I said I "still running like crap". I tried. I have zero people in my town that can help me, so gave up. I'll stick with this for a while
Hello! Great tutorial but I cannot see the ISCV demand trim checkbox on my evoscan, I only see ISC steps. I'm using Openport 2.0, Mitsubishi MUTIII and EFI. Hope you can help, thanks!
I noticed toward the end of my Evo ownership that I had trouble finding the IACV trim section. It had to do with adding the definitions, if I remember right. When I upgraded to the newest version of EvoScan, I also only had the steps option. I sold the car before I had to deal with it again. I'd search to see if you can find the coding to add to the file in order to read it. I never tuned with steps, so can't say how to use that instead.
I went as fast as I could considering he made me short shift. I saw one light bulb of the shift light come on, once. I probably had another 3k to go. 😔
It was either the dust cover hitting the flywheel or I was missing a dowel pin when I put the trans back on. I can't remember which of those issues caused this, but those are the only two problems I've had. I'm pretty sure this one was the dust cover.
So I've found your video and this on Evom about BISS adjustment, which is correct? Thanks Get the engine to operating temp. Disable the IACV in evoscan by activating the Speed Adj. Screw mode ACTUATOR. Then set the idle with the BISS close to desired idle. Then reactivate the Acuator in evoscan. and idle should be good.
I don't remember that thread, but this video should be most recent. It's exactly how I do it to this day. Hope that helps. You don't want to disable the IACV because you need to monitor the ISCV trims (get as close to zero as you can) as you make adjustments.
Gracias, dude! It wasn't bad. I found three places to make up some time. I had to hesitate a bit to get around a car before Sunset. I'd like a lap where I can fix those things. Next time. The front tires were probably a little too warm for this particular lap. I planned to let them cool and try again, but I was just too damned tired to drive any more LOL
I've only used them three times, since; two Autox events and one HPDE. one AutoX and the HPDE were in the rain. I'm told they will get faster after some use on the dry. I hope so because, as of right now, they aren't any faster than the R-S3s.
