I have bought a few of the playmate's TMNT toys and this vehicle. Pretty satisfied with them. I'm def not going to pay high prices for originals that I had as a kid. The remakes of the four turtles look good enough to display😊😊😊😊
Def the best taker, not my favorite version 2010 for sure based on the bat wings 2007-2009 he had skulls lol other than that imma buy 3 to turn him into those specific years
As a kid, I could never get into the cartoon (too many unanswered questions). It just didn't make any sense. However. I was an avid collector of the toys. To this day, I consider MOTU to be the coolest, most unmatched toy line ever created. I haven't been so excited since the relaunch!
Love this one very much, the design of the new boxes is also rad but I don’t like the fact that you only get to see half of the figure when you wanna display it in the box. This really sucks to me
The only thing that's throwing me off is Gobo's dilated _'trippin' on cave shrooms'_ pupil look. Uncle Traveling Matt is on point, and Red looks alright, but Gobo's pupils just look too big. If the price was akin to other Boss Fight Studios (or Jada) stuff at $25, it'd be an easy order. I would say it's that disney tax, but disney doesn't own the Fraggles...so not sure why these things are relatively expensive.
Yeah they are on the pricey side. Boss fight probably figured they would not sell a ton of these & only the hard-core Fraggle fans would be getting them.
Really been wanting to see how these look next to the Palisades Muppets. That's the goal (albiet a super expensive one in a sea of a plethora of other expensive stuff), to have a Jim Henson shelf with the Muppets, these, a few Labyrinth figures, that NECA Chamberlain, and the ReAction Dark Crystal figures.
*NICE!!!* Thank you for the review! For over a week I've been checking the internet multiple times a day for just one review on series 1 of Fraggle Rock....or at least just one Fraggle lol. Been holdin' out 'cause these suckers are pricey; so just wanted to see some in-hand before I take that potential plunge.
Thanks! Yeah these turned out to be very nice. They really remind me of Neca. Also, I was able to situate Gobo’s leg correctly after messing with it a bit.
Very cool! I found your channel on a search for retro toys. I also have a channel as well, retroactivemart is the name. It's mostly about retro and vintage toys and media and collectibles. Anyway, cool stuff here. I'm in Canada and here we don't have nearly as much stuff for the new turtles movie as USA does. So I have never seen that 4 pack here in my part of Canada. There are toys you have in the USA we never see here in my part of Canada as well. I'm a new subscriber, so will continue checking in, thanks!
Thanks for checking us out and of course have returned the favor and subscribed right back. I know the struggle we sometimes have in finding stuff so can only imagine how hard it must be for yall!!!
It is neat, thanks for sharing. Hey the guy in the red outfit left of the bar behind Chewie his head looks like the character that was suppose to be Jabba the Hutt in the Star Wars comic book entitled what ever happened to Jabba The Hut #28 his name is Mosep Binneed and he pretends to be Jabba at times when he is representing him
@@Throwbackstoys I remember seeing him in the comic way back in the day before The Empire Strikes Back and later when I saw the real Jamba I was so confused. Recently I had to look him up and found out he was Jabba's accountant who was his stand in.
Hey man word of advice on future reviews shut off the music in the background. But with that said this is by far the best review of this figure so far. I got him in like 2 weeks ago. While i dislike some of the choices they went with, this is by far the best rex in 3.75in.
Why is it that everyone else is getting theirs already? Who did you guys order through? I was a super early pre-order through Hasbro Pulse, and mine's still not arrived! It's been sitting in the same location for about 5 days now...and from the tracking info I have, DHL still hasn't even given the package to the delivery service (USPS)....is anyone else running into this problem as well??
Oh man, sorry to hear I believe Uncle BJ ordered through Big Bad Toy Store, but I purchased mine through Pulse as well, and mine arrived late last week. In my experience with DHL, it's a massive waiting game. It always feels like they are waiting to get enough orders to make a delivery worth it. Hope it gets to you fast it really is a great figure.
@@Throwbackstoys Thanks for letting me know! Yeah, guess I'm not sure why it just sits for days on end either, but kinda wish Hasbro would use UPS or someone else that's better equipped to handle shipping; guessing it costs more though (you get what you pay for kinda deal), so they probably don't concern themselves with that sort of thinking haha. Finger's crossed, it SAYS a general delivery estimate of tomorrow (6/1/24), but I was also told by Hasbro when I called to inquire about it that I shouldn't count on that being an exact date, and one rep's response to my concern about it being lost/stuck in transit was "well we're not worried about that" and that if I don't get it by the 5th, THEN they'd look more into it....kinda wish companies would ACTUALLY care about the consumers putting $ in their pockets; they don't seem to care enough to even attempt to APPEAR like they care anymore 😕
@HeraldOfDeth it's very frustrating for sure. I am a power ranger collector and they just left it on half full. Multiple lines half complete. Frustrating for sure
Sorry to tell you, friend, but Ranger Reviewer also did not build the Tank mode correct. The Tyrannosaurus must lean forward, in order it's head to be prounounced and not be hidden by the Mastodon's head on its chest. You will accomplice this with the tabs you see on T-Rex's thighs. First, when T-Rex is in its individual Zord mode, you need to push the tabs in order to bring it's feet forward and give him the leaning position. Then you attach more easily the Sabertooth Tiger and the Triceratops, and then the rest like you did. If you make the correct leaning stance, then you will have achieved the 100% screen accurate Tank Mode and will notice that the Mastodon head does not get in the way of the Tyrannosaurus head as it is supposed to fire laser from its mouth and the Mastodon should not get in the way because.... oh well. You figure it out. Have fun experimenting with your new Zords, man. I have almost every Megazord version in my collection, so I've done all the transformations 100000000000000 times. Lol. Cheers, pal!
Thank you for checking out the video!!! I was definitely surprised with the value with all the accessories and the effort they put into all the sculpting.
I went to my local Walmart yesterday & was shocked to see they finally reset the toy section. I picked up the Sega monkey ball figure & the werewolf from Altered Beast.
It's been a long time coming!!! Seemed like the post christmas restock just wasn't what it usually is. Awesome Sega stuff coming out has been really cool
