Beautiful consept, the ancient wave. I struggle to imagine it monolithic though - I get a single origin but entropic swell of diverse, chaotic multitudes. Bones and all.
its all good I was with Obiteration X , not black metal beats.. or simple vocal range. today im DeadStarFoxX.. and went 100 % to help others, send me a album ?
I have watched this on multiple occasions and recommended it to others. Taken as the three videos in total that I see on RU-vid I cannot fathom how any death metal fan wouldn't fucking love it as I do. But I guess the world of subjective taste is filled with such conundrums.
Very good sound, very creative guitar work, although clearly inspired by early Asphyx and Autopsy, this band, (and in this album even more), surpass their influences in a very sophisticated manner. No obvious ''death metal'' clichés, only golden riffs, golden song structures, very awesome and quite technical drumming. The bass player brings the lower depth of hell into the mix while the singer incarnates the screaching torments of the post-mortem sorcerers of the Black Death.
Majestosa essa Banda!Rapaziada com influência muita distinta, para mim,um Old School Death Metal com recheios da Nação do Black Metal Norueguês,anos de 80/90.Parabéns a todos!!!
this music is kinda not death metal...too much echo and its done live for you all to see.. my vocals, and guitar are 100 percent real live. i hope the best for this band.
William Palafox Jr What are you on about with this passive agressive rant? Many bands lost their names to better bands, do you remember the Original Iron Maiden from the 60's-70's? Not many people do, they were awesome though, but then Bruce's Iron Maiden came along with the same name, they were even better, no one stealing anyone's name here, Obliteration is a word. And they are perfect death metal actually, but they have a old school low-fi(without being exagerated) almost black metal inspired production, which i think fits perfectly and makes the music a tad darker, that includes the 'echo'. Wish you good luck on your band, just don't whine around please.
That's obviously just how your ears are hearing it and it seems like you haven't really listened to much death metal from Europe, particularly Scandinavia. To me they are clearly a death metal band with lots of Autopsy and Soulside Journey sound to them. Not all death metal has ultra low guttural vocals constantly. I only found out about this band by stumbling across an interview with Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth saying he doesn't listen to much death metal, only really early pure death metal like Morbid Angel, Entombed and Obliteration who he stated are not old at all but play totally old school death metal and he was completely right. Bands like Obliteration, Reptilian and Blood Red Throne are really showcasing the massive talent Norway has for death metal and I could not be more pleased personally to have found such a band recently.
i remember writing letters to this band decades ago. turns out i had the original obliteration in 1995! yes.. it was all over the U.S.. METAL MANIACS ZINE! due too so many bands spawning our name with the same name.. yes.. omg ..there was a japan band, norway band, too......we changed our named to obliteration x. today we everywhere online. im glad to see this band with the contracted title still around. thumbs up!
