The "rhythm guitarist" is actually a second lead, who has been lead in several other bands. She has been mentoring Lisa-X and has always been happy to play the support line. But she is a monster shredder in her own right. You'll see.
Just found this, so forgive any overlap with prior comments. Here is a little background on them: The word “prodigy” gets thrown around way too much. In this case, it is fully deserved. Lisa-X has been posting music on youtube since she was seven, did credible covers of Dream Theater and Polyphia at 10, and has had her own band since she was 13. The core members of Lisa-X band were Lisa-X, Rina on vocals and Hazuki, formerly of Disqualia and now the lead guitarist for Nemophila, on co-lead guitar. Here she is doing a playthrough with Hazuki on “Just Be My Treasure”: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mN_oLqTka6M.html “One More Chance Is Enough” with Billy Sheehan (!) on bass (Sheehan is on the consensus short list of candidates for best rock bassist in the world). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PzsqmnEa89c.html Rina left the band in 2022 and they took a hiatus to rebuild. They re-emerged as Koiai, and can legitimately claim to be a supergroup. Kotono joined them after stints with various groups including Ironbunny and a previous collaboration with Lisa-X. The big catch was Kanade Sato on drums. Sato is also a member of Muses and is in big demand as a session drummer. She is often compared with the already legendary Senri Kawaguchi. Wakazaemon has been appearing as a guest on bass. She frequently tours with Marty Friedman and is also a member of East of Eden. Here are two more links worth checking out. The first one is Lisa’s 2017 appearance at the annual female rock festival organized by Show-Ya-she is up there with some of the best guitarists in the world and they clearly love sharing the stage with her. The second one is her collaboration with the even younger drum phenom, Yoyoka Soma, who is herself a force of nature. At NaonのYaon (age 12): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hbeW7Yuf-a0.html With Yoyoka: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B97HKxg4Cwk.html Here are some links to Koiai: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g-JEUWnTgJY.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nQOhmO7Af2I.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2njAh58OA10.html (cover of Dirty Loops version) Overall, rock is not only in good hands, but arguably has been taken over by Japanese women. The future looks great!
As great as Chisa and Juria's voices are, this is my favorite of the individual Vox videos. Hinata is so perfect for these pop/alt pop type of tracks. You'll see on Vox 5. Again, Juria and Chisa (especially Juria) shine but I love Hinata's part so much. Nice reaction ✌🏾
It's not Guy Sebastian's song, it's both Guy Sebastian AND Sam Fischer's song. They wrote it TOGETHER. Just because you don't know who Sam Fischer is does not mean he is irrelevant to this song. Please get your facts straight before assuming you know it all.
@The Real Shakes-P, I might be mistaken but I think you reacted to BTS? This is one of the members of BTS his name is Park Jimin. This is from his solo Album “ FACE” JiMin is one of the vocalist of BTS and they do multiple genres as you can see here this is got a lot of hip-hop flavor! Just released another album “MUSE” which is a total different from his first album and all of BTS have released solo albums except for JIN the oldest member who just was released from his mandatory military service. He will be coming out with his solo album very soon. The BTS members this is there a solo albums releases: 1. Suga aka Agust (D D-DAY - MVs Haegeum and Amygdala But please watch the MV Daechwita “ first because that’s the beginning of this trilogy 2 J-Hope- ( Jack in the Box- MVs “More” and “ Arson “ he also has a collaboration song with J. Cole “On The Street” MV 3. V- ( Layover- “ Slow Dancing, Love Me Again, Rainy Days , Blue, For Us MVs-he released a music video for all of his songs on his album! 4. JungKook-(Golden- “ Standing Next to You” and he also did a remix of this song with usher both have music videos, “ 3D” feat. Jack Harlow, “ SEVEN” feat. Jin -Single solo release,”The Astronaut “ MV which was written and produced with Coldplay Chris Martin Well I hope that this will give you some insight on BTS‘s music genres and please check out some of their other group music videos I hope to see them on your channel thank you for reacting to Jimin of BTS 💜🙏🏼👍
@@laurahilliker5336 Yeah I used to react to BTS quite often on the channel. Until I had issues with multiple followers of theirs starting problems in the RU-vid community.
@Shakes-P, sorry to hear that some radical supposedly BTS fans, gave you trouble on your channel. I happen to be a fan of BTS Believe me I’m not like that! It’s a shame that one of the biggest groups coming out of South Korea and becoming so international that the fans would be a little bit more understanding because that is how BTS talked about the message about accepting everyone and excepting all things in this world a lot of their songs have to do with mental health and respect and loving yourself! that is Jimin of BTS and I hope you give it another chance by reacting to some more BTS just maybe their solo stuff if you want to🤷🏻♀️💜
He is massive in the UK and soooo loved. He wrote this and so much more more. I totally agree that it is a perfectly worded song for our times. It is about getting Scottish independence. He is Scottish Italian. Hugs from a Scot.
Thank you I made a request on a previous comment that was sent I asked for a comparison between the studio version of fever And the aloha. The studio is on the elvis is back album then Aloha which performance is on RU-vid. I'm sorry. I don't have the link at my finger tips. If I find it, I'll send it to you and then end another message.
Yes, thank you.I'm so happy you're doing Elvis.I have a request , however actually a comparison of fever from the Elvis's back album and the Aloha 73 concert. In my opinion , I like the studio better but the visual of elvis is always to😊
Great reaction!! Nice to see you reacting to Stan again. 😀 I support @hmmmyeahnahdoh823's Stan recommendations (below), esp. 'New Light' & 'Amazing Grace'. Also 'The One You Want / Baby It's You' (live); 'Stan Walker, Vince Harder, Jakiel Mariner Singing - Babyface, Usher, Maxwell & D'Angelo' (a fun but beautifully executed mashup - great falsetto harmonies!); home recording of Stan singing '"Draw Me Nearer by" Jireh'. 😄
"What the F#$K is going on?" Aussie Pub Rock my friend. Imagine what it would be like growing up and seeing this performed on stage mere feet away from you, and when they take a break you walk twenty feet to your mates and your beer on the table. And that's Cold Chisel. We also saw AC/DC, The Angels, Hunters and Collectors, Dragon, Kevin Borich, Rose Tattoo EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. These pub rock bands were playing in bars, and sometimes would even drink at the bar between sets (not backstage). The intimacy with these bands that turned out to be rock GODS and LEGENDS. I don't have to. I lived it. Americans (and Canadians) reacting to their music all bemoan the fact that they have never even heard of these bands, why the hell not? In Cold Chisel's case, they had an American promoter who wanted to totally re-invent the band to form themselves among other American bands. "You got nothing I want" (a GREAT Cold Chisel song) was their reply. THAT'S why so many of these great bands only achieve a little recognition in the USA or Canada or the UK after they have hit their peak. The overseas radio stations only play local bands. "Where have these guys been all my life?" is often asked. Right here in Australia mate, knocking our socks off.
@@sopwithpuppy you are so fucking lucky lol. Once a week I used to do an Aussie Pub Rock Dedicated Livestream so I am more than familiar with everyone you just named! I love powder and also thirsty merk as well!!! More music from your side of the world coming soon.
@@Shakes-P "Wild Thing". Live. Cold Chisel. It's a rock anthem covered by a thousand bands over decades, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING EVER comes close to this performance. By far THE best cover of this song you will EVER see. Jimmy showing what wild REALLY is, fighting with fans and Security. Alcohol in abundance. And blistering rock. Be warned, be prepared. You will LOVE it!
As a Kiwi and a massive fan, it gives me immense pleasure to see Stan's undeniable gift being globally appropriated. Now all I need is a good glass of Tennessee whiskey, keep the strawberry wine.
