Did this and even with cotton in my ears AND ear muffs it was loud, I know some people that did this without hearing protection and their ears rang for two days straight.
Hi. It’s brilliant. We only ever got blocked twice due to not running the water fast enough. To help avoid blockages turn your water on first fully and feed your food gradually, not forcing it. Water on first and off last. Water is your friend!! A couple of times it jammed and wouldn’t start due to some fibrous stuff building up on the edge. I resolved this by letting it run for 5 -10 mins with some water and it got rid of it. You can turn it manually with an Allen key to help move it when jammed. Overall I would highly recommend. Are you getting one?
@@bigmacbricky4866 thanks for a quick response! really appreciate it. I have actually got one waiting to be installed at some point this week. This same model :)
I mean no disrespect but people who say that this is funny are basically saying that animals suffering and dying from obesity is the funniest thing that they've ever seen and little do y'all know that an obese animal will always have a much much shorter lifespan than usual so no this isn't funny at all it's just another perfect example of pure animal abuse only sick psychopaths would fine this stuff to be funny and again it is not funny it is considered as animal abuse and animal abuse is never ever funny and this is not an opinion it's a stated fact stated by multiple resources and again I don't mean any disrespect but y'all should know these things by now.
Never had an issue with peelings. Just make sure you have plenty of cold water running. Warm water will help it stick to the pipe work which could cause a blockage.
Okay you can use hands while using the garbage disposal and it's not like a blender at all and it's a few inches down so it's not going to cut your hand off and it is there to four inches down and it doesn't have blades like a blender. It has a thing called an impeller blade which is two lugs and it is attached to a round circle plate which is called the flywheel just don't stick your hand all the way down in the Garbage disposal.
@@bigmacbricky4866 well impeller same thing it doesn't have to be Sharp like a blender blade it doesn't matter what it's called because it can still do damage anyway but it is considered an impeller blade that's what it is just like impeller blade on a pump impeller or vacuum cleaner fan impeller so it's a blade who cares what it's called
@@caseyoliver165 there is no impeller either. No blade type instrument. You would need to get your hand right in there to harm yourself. Look up how it works.
@@bigmacbricky4866 okay then what the hell do you call it then because you say there's No blade or No impeller then what the hell do you call it then and yes I know how they work because I have one
Safety first! Use a dish scrubber to push the waste into the hole. 😳 And buy a drainage cover to put over the hole, whilst enabling drainage to continue.
You don't have to do that that's only if you want to do that but the impellers is about few inches down in your disposal and it won't cut your hands and that person didn't stick his whole hand into the Garbage disposal so he did it right and just don't stick your hand down the garbage disposal while running
Hahaha! I was trying to think of something rubber I can cut into rectangular when I was watching this video. Let’s be creative now. How about cutting and stacking a few rectangular foam mats?
Thanks! I found your video looking for "do it yourself diverter" as I've found store-bought ones reduce the flow of water which can lead to overflows / backups. Your simple system is helpful to see! I'm sharing it with friends to explain the diverter mechanism and drawbacks. In your case, your system would reduce the top flow to about half of what the pipe could carry (I'm having a problem with a downspout/pipe that is near capacity in heavy rains). However, if you ever have this problem, your system shows me that I could have a section of wider pipe, then use this same type of system where the middle section of pipe is the same size (or bigger) than the one feeding it. I'm just stunned at how easy you made it though - brilliant!
What do you do about preventing freezing from cracking the barrel? Just drain it? I found this video looking up a friend suggestions to put tennis balls inside the rain barrel to absorb the expansion of the ice but I think water will permeate the tennis ball after being frozen a few times... Maybe not... Is there something else we can do to avoid draining then every year? Thumbs up on the video! Glad I landed here!!!
I rarely drain the tanks as we don’t really get too low temps here in Ireland. If I see around the -4 or -5 I’ll drain them but as I say it’s rare. Maybe once in the last 5 years. Not sure how you would prevent it though.
My rule is with the stuff at my house is if you can’t start it you can’t ride it and the Naibor is WAY to small for my dirt bike and he believes he can ride it and I let him and he wrecked so after that he lied and said he hit something but now when he goes to start it I turn the switch off 😂 so it won’t start
@@okanoyuki I got it from my Naibor it’s a Baja 120 frame with a preditor engine from harbor freight with a 4 inch sprocket to make it go faster and the govener taken out and a new intake
