Your the bad driver! leaving a 2-3 car gap when traffic moves are you deliberately trying to annoy people behind you or do you have no sense of anticipation and forward planing?? A 2-3 car gap is when you are on the motorway at high speed not in traffic as you can see all the other cars we're tightly spaced but your the muppet with a large gap. And ye are the type of people to report the taxi driver when you were in the wrong I guess there's no helping some people.
Your entitled to your opinion but the wide angle lense makes the space look longer than it was but look at the video again and the taxi clearly tried to move into our lane when they were no where near far enought ahead - their rear quater was along side our bonnet- cannot be seen in the video so I was forced to move out of the lane or a collision would be caused - that is not acceptable or safe - the rule of the road recommends you leave 2 seconds space to the vechile ahead and in bumper to bumper traffic that is hard to judge but this taxi drive clearly thinks -05 seconds space is enough!!
He was a little aggressive, however he was entitled to come across on the first part if you look at the white lines and in the wrong after you spoke to him.
Why leave such a big gap, while the light is green, people are going to be more angry with you wasting their time when they could have gotten through the lights. There are a huge number of bad taxi drivers but at least he indicated that's better than most. He is a taxi driver so needs to merge from the right hand lane into the left and you left a gap obviously he is going to take the opportunity.
