I will never forget making Chris laugh onstage, while he was in an upright bed for the electric tour 2014 in Blackpool. I was 8 foot away and shouted “we fucking love you Chris!”😂

I've watched this a few times, and I still can't help but feel that Marco could & should have been a bit more diplomatic with his choice of words talking about Adam.

I was a fan from the beginning. It's funny to hear that the album Behaviour wasn't well received by the public (but praised by critics) because I loved it upon first listen. I remember playing it for some friends one night and everyone wanted a copy. But, it *was* a strange time; We had lost people we loved to AIDS, were caring for ones that were dying, while living our lives (some of us still clubbing and partying.) "Being Boring" is an especially relevant and poignant signature if that time.

I was born in 84 and all their songs always thought of gay men dancing at a party filled with style. I just assumed it was gay singers. I still do there’s nothing wrong with that but there is something about their music that brings out the gayness and people so I guess being yourself really helps and this music guides you

When I was like 6 or 7, our grammar school gym teacher (who was a spitting image of Schneider from Three's Company) used to always play _West End Girls_ as we did laps around the gym... and I have never stopped loving that song, after 30 years. How amazing to find out where it came from... just something spontaneous and visceral.. wow. But I gotta admit, the wankers they interviewed in the second half of this video-- "Killers" idiot, drugged-out weirdo from "Scissor Sisters," that fraud Robbie Williams, and zero-talent "Keane" moron-- make me feel ill... bunch of lame brain morons, kind of spoiled it, really.

I get a chill when Neil Tennant raises his hand at the 4:36 point, as he comes out of the rap intro and raises his key to start singing the main melody. It's like he's moving into another / higher plane. This is one of my favorite songs of all time! Thank you for uploading this documentary, @alwaysinmyhouse.

I was a complete psb fan in the 80's, I lived and breathed them, but i never knew why they made the film. I had the film on video and maybe watched 20 minutes of it. I loved them but the film just made me embarrassed for them, which was a shame because i really wanted it too work for them. However I never knew these programs happened as my music taste changed and i'm so glad i've been able to re-visit my first music love knowing I can still watch them.

America loved Liberace, what are those anti-American lefties talking about? Please. There were probably MORE gay pop culture ions than ever in the 80s. From Liberace, to Richard Simmons to Paul Lyndes, to Rip Taylor, etc. etc. etc. Ridiculous assertions by idiots that weren't there. In fact, straight men felt and acted more sexy than these snowflakes today. I hate it when people point to the 80s as this anti-gay Reagan Republican right era. Liberal misinformation and revisionist bullshit. If anything grunge and gangstarap was more anti-gay and it's stayed that way still til this day, please. .::Gary

Not so. None of the men you mentioned was out. As for Reagan, not addressing a public health crisis by funding research when the majority of the victims of the disease are gay is incredibly homophobic. It was referred to as "the gay cancer" for a long time. Groups like ACT UP were necessary for a reason.
@wendileona

I hate historic revisionist like that fat dude at the end of this part talking about how America was a very different in 1989. That's not so, it was very open and being "gay" wasn't that a big deal. They were already used to it due to the sexual revolution of the 60s and 70s. Americans were just more comfortable and confident and not so politically correct paranoid like today. If anything it was the left that made the right seem as if they were not open and accepting. Nonsense. That lot at the end there going on about how America was this and that, were NOT there and revising 80s America through their politically correct modern day idiocy. .::Gary

What revolution were they the forerunners of in your opinion. How does a song like Being Boring symbolise their explosive being. I ask as that sound like bollocks.

They made the album 'Very' sound like a failure in this documentary. It's sad because they are basing the success on how well the album does in the U.S. But Very was successful in all other parts of the world....I was raised in Canada and Can You Forgive Her and Go West went to #1. The album in #9 of that year.

You know the old saying, Curiosity killed the cat. Well, I was an Adam Ant fan and just had to watch this video series, but would have preferred to keep my fantasy images of the pirate punk intact. Glad things are going better, aside from the mania, no real harm done. :)
