That Stratus ("I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS!!!") was a nice-looking car with decent performance for what it was...but taking it to a drag strip? Come on, now. 🤣
Had a 04 monte carlo ss/sc loved that car bought it out of the showroom with 4 miles put about 80k on it. Purchased a 0 mile 06 GTO 6 speed 6.0 after that I filed a lemon law case on it. I blew the front struts out twice within 6k and the motor blew at 2800miles. Spent more time driving a rental than i did that car
Strange that there wasn't mention of the sledgehammer or zr1 corvettes. Bith held legendary records for many years. I have a Zr1, and it's an incredible performer. Better than the porsche 911 turbo and Ferrari f40 in its era in every measurable performance metric.
In 1990, corvette zr1 held 4 speed records. One was the fastest car over a 24 hour run. 175 mph average. The rec I rd lasted over 10 years when it was beat by a car built just to beat it.
