There are many false statements in this video. Quail Ridge? WTF? There are arguably only two courses in this video that would ever make the top 10 list. Tokatee is better than 7 of those you mention.
I love Cross Creek and have played it over 20 times, but some of the shots this clips showed didnt look like any part of Cross Creek that I have ever seen. Also, Diamond Woods outside of Monroe was cool but it was not a top-10 Oregon course....not even close. This list doesn't include BBR (2 courses), Brasada Canyons, Tetherow, Pronghorn, Tokatee out the McKenzie, etc Awful list, this person is not from Oregon. Or they are, they just dont play golf 😂
Mispronunciations one right after another, Indian words, English words, locations, regions, pretty unprepared. You asked what we thought, we wont even refer about various tribal words. We not only stole their land we didnt even recall their proper words and terms. Simple: if its worth writing about and videotaping, then do research before putting it all together, sir.
Lmfao. How could you leave tokati out of these. Mallord is nice but DEFINITELY not top ten. Diamond is tenth. Tokati is better than Diamond and mallard. And completely left out the amazing courses in Central Oregon. Idk. Maybe the one designed by the Golden bear ??? This video IS CAP. And wrong on the top ten
Played EVERY public in CT, but unsure of rankings here. I'm adding Oxford Greens, Great River, Gillette Ridge and Mohegan Sun. My top 10 true PUBLICs: 1) Yale - Spectacular and allowed public play recently - Legitimately one of best in world 2) Lake of Isles (North) - Nothing is even close in Connecticut for a true public 3) Great River - Pretty golf course and will test every club in the bag 4) Wintonbury Hills - Hosted lots of Championship events, wonderful Dye course 5) Gillette Ridge - Tough layout, when it first opened the rough made it brutal 6) Oxford Greens - Added a bunch of houses taking a little charm away, but great layout 7) Mohegan Sun - Added to keep up with Foxwoods (Lake of Isles), nice 8) Connecticut Nat'l - Biased got a hole in one but great track - beautiful links style 9) Richter Park - Great, sprawling layout and yes water is ever present but doable 10) Keney Park - Refurburished and did a great job - old track with lots of character Honorable Mantions: Shennecosett, Lyman Orchards (Player), Cedar Knob, Ellington Ridge, Fairview Farms
Played them all except the Privates (Tamarack & the CC of Fairfield) that shouldn't be on this list. Played Fox Hopyard, now Private & is on my list IF still public. Adding privates, like Stanwich, Wee Burn, Brooklawn, Bull's Bridge and many, many more they'd dominate this list totally except for Yale & maybe Lake of Isles (North).
