Great video and explanation of the greyhound cards software Malcolm. I would love to see in the Rank by button something along the lines of top COW and BSP together so that you can see only those races and not have to sift them through yourself. An example of another could be the TOP 3 COW, TOP 3 BSP and TOP 3 PSR. So, when you press the button to change the races it comes up with those races where you get only those races that match that criteria. Maybe the top 2 and so on. As long as you have the top one in there from the selected criteria. I say all this and I don't have this software but that is what I would like to see added to it. But once again great video and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the suggestion. I am always adding to the cards. I recently added a dutching results card so you can see what would have happened if you had Dutched certain rank runners only. It's kind of along your suggestion. Thanks again.
Had a look at this the other day, its 1 days data so cant be taken completely as gospel but there were about 30 races where 5 and 6 won. If you remove the races where it wouldnt be profitable for 4 dog dutch I dont think you are making profit if you blindly did this as you struggle to make 50% on a dutch of 4 runners. You could look at running stats to narrow it down but I definitely wouldnt be doing this blindly
I agree you wouldn't do it blindly. That's the great thing about the cards is there are lots of ways to cross reference them with other ratings. Personally I like them when the top 4 COW also include the Top 4 All(Ratings) and if you have PSR(1) and some of the others as well it just builds the confidence on a Dutch that already has a good chance of being successful.

Malcolm would it be possible for you to do a video on the greyhound score card and explain what all the columns are I am using it daily and am trying to find the best angle if I knew what each column was based on it would help a lot cheers
Thanks for your comments. Of course there will be losers I did say that in the video. The point is that if you pick carefully your chances are good that you will have enough winners to cover the losers. It's like every method it's about learning to choose carefully and go from there. The video was also not just about the method but what can be achieved with low cost wins.
I love the spreadsheet. Simply find 300 placed horses in a row with no losers and yes you will make a profit. Well done. Absolutely zero chance of this 'method' making a profit long term.
Thanks for the reply that is not what I said in the video. I said there will be losers the point is to show that you don't need large wins to make a profit over time.
Thanks for your reply. I wasn't suggest any system I was giving some ideas. I didn't suggest what I was showing would win over time I was trying to show what is possible with small wins.
@sportingbots It wasn't a criticism. I was giving a general comment to viewers who may think a retrieval/increasing staking idea after a loss will work. It won't.

I don't understand the return of £0.99 on placing second. I though you would be down £0.46 You've bet with a total stake of £1 split between the two parts, so the stake for each part is £0.50. **If the dog finishes 2nd**, the greyhound did not win, hence you lose the 'Win' part of the bet. But it placed 2nd, hence the 'Place' part of the bet is successful. Given that the odds for the place bet are 1/4 of the win odds (4.32), the odds for your bet are 4.32/4 = 1.08. Your returns from the 'Place' part of the bet are:\ Stake \* Place Odds = £0.50 \* 1.08 = £0.54 Hence, your total returns are £0.54. As your original total stake was £1.00 and you got back £0.54, your loss on this bet is (total stake - total returns): £1.00 - £0.54 = £0.46 So, **you have a loss of £0.46** if the dog finishes second on a £1 each-way bet at odds of 4.32 (with the place part of the bet paying out at 1/4 of the win odds). What am I missing here Malcom?

For the last month or so I have been using the TTS software which gives you lots of stats from which you can get ideas and pointers for potential winning strategies. It is early days for this particular one and I am still assessing it to see if it is worthwhile.
“I don’t think”. Malcom most of your content is literally just randomness. Alternatively, why not try: 1. Stating what % the no.1 rating wins at? 2. Why only 2 bets? If it has an edge, which clearly it doesn’t, why not play more/all? 3. Nothing clearly works from the cards as you have literally tried everything. 4. Prove they work, show your Betfair P/L. I’m sure you would get a lot of views, likes and even subscribers for your software. Although, the big caveat is clearly they do not work, hence why you haven’t stated any of this. Happy to be proven wrong 👍

Good question. That's what happens when you have been trading for 22 years and you forget not everyone will use software which will allow you to bet easily under £1. You can get around the £1 by placing a bet that won't get matched and then adjusting it, which will give you an option to place a lower stake. I also think Betdaq allows 50p stakes (I don't use them accept in an emergency). The real point of the video was to show you don't need large stakes to start. So whether it is 50p or £1 these are still small amounts to what other people normally tell you need.
