I regularly attend Comic-Con's around the United Kingdom in hope to meet the coolest and most awesome guests from hit films and tv shows currently dominating the world!
So join us on our journey and relive conventions through the eyes of me and my friends. Reminisce from the good times and get to see conventions from a totally new point of view. My experience can also help you if you are undecided about going.
People may judge us for what we do in life, but no one should impact the way you live your life besides YOU!
Did Evangeline Lilly say anything to you when you entered the photo op booth? When I met her at Galaxycon Richmond last year she said “Come On Over and “Hi” to me
Waving that gun around when it was dark took the risk of just one member of the public to call the police and you guys would be on the floor with real guns pointing at you :( you got to be carful because they will take it very seriously even if it’s fake. But comic con looked cool 😎
Ty Tennant was lovely and so was his dad. I also met Jamie Campbell Bower and did the Jodie Whittaker talk. I hope you all had a great time at Liverpool and London Comic Cons. I did see you all around the venue today but as I was upstairs and you were downstairs I couldn't come say hey. I'm too shy to say hey to youtubers as well
Sounds like you had a great weekend too! I’ve met David and Jodie before and they’re always lovely. I’ll meet Jamie next time as I heard he was really kind too. Please do say hi next time!
@@TheBendle If I see you at comic con in the future then I'll come say hey. I always go to comic con alone as most of my friends can't afford to go to comic con. did you get any cool merch at comic con this weekend?
So, I believe if you pre-purchase online, you can jump in the queue at anytime. If they wish to regulate the queue then they will offer VQ tickets which will allow you to go off and come back when your number is called. However, if a guest sells out online, they won’t allow people to walk up to the table (but I do have doubts about that as all guests sign at their own pace etc) but best to be safe! If you have a guest that’s not sold out online, then you get a VQ ticket if they have a big line and come back when your number is called so you have less time to queue and the area is more controlled. I hope this helps!
@@TheBendle thanks so much Kieran, this is so helpful. In a few hours you've provided me with more info than wales comic con whom i emailed 4 days ago with no reply! I see, so it sounds like it's similar to LFCC apart from the pre-purchase aspect. So even if I pre-purchase online, and they wish to regulate queue, there's a chance I'll still be given a VQ ticket? In which case, is there a mad sprint in the morning to the desks to get a low number ticket? I only found I was free to go relatively late and so missed early bird for the Sunday, instead I have general entry. I'm planning on getting there very very early but I'm still worried by the time I get in any VQ I get will be horrifically low. At LFCC, most guests run out of time and so tickets beyond a certain number simply don't get reached. Hopefully as you said the pre-purchase option will work well :)
@@BicMacAndChips1 my pleasure! Actually, come to think of it, your ticket will probably be a number or batched. So they’ll allow only a certain amount to join the queue at one time. Similar to the VQ but shouldn’t require you to have to be in early for it. That’s what LFCC do for Diamond Passes and I *think* Wales did for this con in 2019. To be honest, I haven’t pre-paid for an auto yet so can’t 100% confirm but that does make sense and I think a friend pre-paid and it was like that. It’ll be interesting to see if they allow VQ or walk ups to a guest that’s full sold out pre-paid auto tickets though! I have my fingers crossed for you mate!
@@TheBendle I see, that makes sense! There's one or two guests who I'd be devastated if I didn't get so I'm definitely going to pre-purchase those, and any others I'll just see how it goes on the day. Thanks for all the really helpful info mate, much appreciated!
He was only £25 at the time. His price now is insane! They did actually end up sending us our hard copy in the post which was good of Wales Comic Con to fulfil!
@@TheBendle fair play to them and I'd be gutted as well for paying good cash and not leaving with wat I paid for will you be going to the one in November
Thank you so much! I will be attending Showmasters, MCM and Wales events in 2021 if it is safe to do so! I am excited and looking forward to the future of comic cons!
@@TheBendle He was a cool guy too, his hands were massive lol. I shook his hand too. Cool as fuck though. I'm gutted that there's no cons this year, I'm having proper con blues this month 😭😂
Chloe Fawkes all photos can be bought up to the start of the photo op time (provided its in stock). There will be a schedule and floor plan released a week or so before and you make your way to the photo area at the allocated time. Then there’s a queueing system where they call in batches to prevent mass congregations. If it’s a big guest then usually they’ll do 2 photo op times. Higher batches go to the later shoots!
x*Stormy_Skies*x this one was yes, at the time I don’t believe the UK had any cases at the time. The Summer show is currently scheduled to continue on the original dates in July but that could change at any moment too be honest. Follow Showmasters on Twitter or Facebook for the most up to date info! I hope it does go ahead though, I miss Cons!
Kieran Rendle he told me about keanu and how he bruised his arm during the filming of one of the fight scenes.he also told me that he couldn’t watch the scene in John wick three when the knife is but in one of the men’s eyeballs 😂
