She won't let it be completed. Her souls are already in most every Titanic exhibit. Perhaps with more respect she would allow it. Interference over radios at wreck site, SOS being picked up on dives, orbs over the wreck, and it goes on.
I say it before and I say it again Clive Palmer is not liar and he’s planning of having the Titanic II build next year and it will launch next years of 2027 because Ik for the fact that people will be wrong and I will be right can’t wait to get on and to see the titanic II be built next year keep up the awesome vids man
Honestly, I’m just confused on why he chose Titanic right off the gate, surely a replica Andrea Doria would be a better first choice since it fits more closely with modern ship safety standards, it has a beautiful design and can easily perform in ocean going and costal travel meaning that it could essentially act as a cruise ship that can have multiple different routes instead of just the one. It’s smaller, it’s sleeker, it’s fast and it doesn’t have a huge disaster tied to its design other than its sinking which had minimal casualties. It would overall just be a great ship to start a revival era of the ocean liner with, in my opinion at least.
@jonathanmcginley8128 Andrea Doria is a great idea, but the general public has never heard of her. Titanic is the most famous ship even built, for all the wrong reasons! It's not clear if Titanic II will be successful - only time will tell! The cheapest option is of course to just build a new cruise ship and forget about history.
I didn’t think that Titanic’s funnels seemed large enough for (spacious) viewing galleries. Is there any other way to access them besides external stairways that appear to be only accessible to crew members? It certainly doesn’t look handicapped accessible because I can’t imagine how anyone in wheelchairs or mobility scooters would be able to access it.
The glass should indeed be tinted, so that the viewing galleries would be nearly impossible to notice from outside. The grotesquely obvious black rectangles shown in the renderings would be another couple of painful eyesores. If they would be as obvious as that on the actual ship, I would drop them entirely, though I can understand Palmer's desire to make the two forward funnels serve some actual function instead of being complete dummies. But as noted in the video, even the original Titanic had its dummy funnel.
I fully agree. The renderings were issued in 2013. The artist may have made the funnel windows very black so you can see them. Anyway, a lot of design tweaks must have been carried out by Deltamarin over the design phase, which probably took years. Until we see new renderings, we cannot be sure about anything! Best subscribe to my Tit II blog and this channel (all free). As soon as I get new images and/or info I will share it.
Speaking of dummy funnel, I imagine it’s gonna look kinda weird seeing a replica Titanic spewing exhaust from places the original one didn’t - the after two instead of the forward 3.
The “Titan” ocean liner was designed to have 5 screws? Two wing screws on each side and a center screw sitting just forward of the rudder? Curious to know what his plans were as far as the propulsion configuration…Certainly you could not fit that many reciprocating engines and they wouldn’t produce the speed he wanted. If all turbine I could see that vessel being plagued by vibration issues and not to mention the fuel consumption to run that many engines and maintain a high service speed.
To be honest, the project spec was like an ocean liner "fans" wish list. Nothing about it seemed realistic to me. See: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S-e_L3Flkf4.html For example, he wanted Harland and Wolff to build her, which they would be incapable of. The speed was not practical. Titanic II on the other hand is achievable. I have more SS Titan videos in my members area. (Memberdhip is cheap). The late Mr. Ricker approved them.
@@WaterWorld1 Have you ever looked deeper in how trust worthy Palmer and his projects are? His hot air is spreading since 2012 and nothing ever has happened. A lot of critiques have reached the project (for good!) if the ship will ever have any success due to the fact it's based on an outdated system that seperates rich people from poor without any middle class which would mean people without the money could only be travaling under bad circumstances like the people did in 1912...
I agree that Palmer is unpredictable, but a lot of work has taken place on the project: ru-vid.comK9U5mOOK6io?si=oY7HKK7WilWrT5gG Many ships still have a class system onboard, they just don't call it that now. You can stay in a cheap inside cabin or an expensive big balcony suite or duplex. Some ship have different resterants, depending on cabin grade, even private pools and deck areas for the top dollar accommodation.
To use steam engine, how about using Nuclear reactor, they produce boiling water to power the steam on the Nuclear power plant. Or burning vegetables oils that they use on those little trains at Disneyland.
Kinda a little bit disappointed that it won’t have boilers and engines replica to the Titanic II but at least will we see the fake replica rudder that does not steer the ship but the bottom cruise ship props do, I am so excited to see the Titanic II to be able to sail around, I also even wondering what’s the comparison to QM2 and Titanic II’s length
No cruise port can supply coal these days for steam engines. I will release a video later comparing QM2 and Titanic II. Best subscribe to this channel.
The space that will not be taken by the Steam/Original piston engine machinery/Boilers, and also the space that would lead the boilers to the funnels, can be used to add extra public rooms/cabins, which might tweak/fix many of the possible cons Titanic II would have
Extra public rooms will mainly be on the new safety deck as far as we know. Cabins will be in original locations, as far as we know! Subscribe to my blog and I will post the full details as soon as they are available.
I have a quesition about Palmer's ships (as we know is the Titanic 2), can he buy the SS United States and fix it? This is my think if Palmer buy it, If he did buy the SS United States, Palmer would probably spend more money than he did on Titanic 2 to almost completely repair the structure of the SS United States. Coal fuel will be replace by diesel fuel and it will also have modern equipment such as radar, navigation bridge, etc. It will also have to serve the Blue Star Line company, so the SS United States will have a livery color similar to the livery color of Olympic 2's class ships
Yes! I was also paying with a different AI image web site and the ships that it created were more weird and wonderful! Subscribe to this channel and you will see it soon.
Hi Nathen, you "feel" wrong! Construction will begin in 2025 - honest! ;-) ( Best subscribe to this channel and my blog for free, to hear about the Titanic II’s progress: titanicll.wordpress.com )
From the description Her sister “Scarlet” is even named after a working girl! ;-) (Images Courtesy Virgin Voyages). So can we be certain that they are Indeed virgins
Today people demand one per cabin, so that 1,217 for the passengers and around 450 for the crew, assuming cabins accommodate two people. The grand total is 1,667 toilets....then we need showers....
Well, this is my think why it's delayed, maybe Deltamarin and Palmer design both Olympic 2 and Britannic 4 with that Titanic 2 too! But Palmer just keep secret about he design the Olympic and Britannic and only said he design the Titanic 2, also the Covid
You may be right. Palmer is very secretive! Time will tell. ( As soon as I know I will post it here: titanicll.wordpress.com Best subscribe to this channel and my blog for free, to hear about the Titanic II’s progress:)
I hate these people who say I don’t want to pay to die or something, like clive palmer said its extra strong thwt it can’t sink with water tight doors and pumps and all is safer
What new safety rules and regulations from the modern era will be equipped onto the hull of the ship? Will she be completely be engineered differently or similar to modern day Cruise Liners?
Titanic II will technically be the same as any modern cruise ship: same lifeboats, engines, radar etc. but without the balcony cabins and pools etc on deck. Her speed will be the same as the original Titanic, which is the same as modern cruise ships. She will just look vintage. What we don't know is if she will be a "real" ocean liner , with an extra thick hull like the QM2. I have loads of video published and some coming about the engine and hull etc. ( Best subscribe to this channel and my blog for free, to hear about the Titanic II’s progress: titanicll.wordpress.com )
@AndreiPopescu yep, but I believe this time us real. Construction should start in 2025 and the ship will enter service in 2027. Subscribe and I will keep you updated.
