Hey, Liz. Mine was equivalent to the gold package and yes, PRP was part of the package on the day (administered after the transplant itself is finished)
@TheWellnessAbbey I'm scheduled to go in Nov. 2024 for my hair transplant HEVA, I know that a VISA is not needed for a US citizen with a passport, did you have purchase the foreign insurance to enter Turkey? Is this a requirement now?
My experience with somatic therapy started this week. I started somatic therapy randomly without even knowing what it was. (I’m a born-again believer coming out of the occult. God pulled me out of some messy, scary stuff, I praise him for his mercy). Since coming back to Christianity I’ve really been struggling with anxiety and fear. Prayer has helped, praise and worship have helped, but I have to pray long prayers, begging for help, or listen to praise and worship in the shower to stay calm. It’s been rough. I started to tap my face one day while in the shower and it helped. I think it is a spin-off of somatic therapy (EFT tapping). I work at a school so I always pray the Lord’s prayer in class over my students and myself and it helps me through the day. Today I started to tap my face throughout the day and it kept me calm, so I thought oh this must be of God. This must be good. So when I got home I decided to do some research. The word somatic came to mind, so I looked it up along with the word Christianity, and now I’m here. This video has shown me that I still struggle with aligning with Nicolaitan doctrine. (i.e. being a Christian who still tolerates and engages in occultist beliefs and practices.) Which is something that Jesus hates, so I’ve decided to stop because of the information you presented. The prayers take longer and I still feel anxious, but at least I know it’s safe. (It’s like going to the gym vs. starvation to get slim. The gym takes longer but it makes you stronger not weaker.) I’m a little sad, it does help, but as you said as Christians it is better to leave it alone. I learned the hard way. Not all new agers come back to Christ with this much trauma, it is exhausting to unlearn. I’m grateful for your ministry and for the research that you did and shared with us all. Thank you again. May God bless you and your ministry. Also, what do you think about the Abide app? They have meditations and they have helped me a lot. It's all Christ-centered and they lift up and honor God in a way that I believe is good, but idk I still seriously struggle with discernment. It's not good.😔
I have just ended my reformer Pilates membership at a non-instructor based venue with screens on the walls. The last session I went into, the instructor told us it was time for our “offering”. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing - it was a move where we had to kneel on the reformer and using the straps behind us, sweep our arms forward in circular movements such as one who worships an idol. I have never seen that in a Pilates class before but now my eyes have been opened! Thank you for making us aware with your content about this on your channel, it’s a confirmation for me to stay away from these eastern religion practices and rituals in any form of physical activity.
Hi Abbey. Could you comment on which package you used - gold or silver? Also would you recommend the 4-month hair booster kit? And how many days did you stay in Turkey for?
@@bilalgulleid3852 hey! My package is their gold package. I personally don't think the booster kit will do anything good old supplements from the grocery store and like castor oil or a carrier oil mixed with an essential oil won't do tbh. It was 3 nights.
For anxiety states herbal teas with Lemon balm, valerian and motherwort are much better. CBD oil may help with sleep a little at the beginning but with longer use it does more harm than good.
I have ADHD I couldn’t stand voice tone & ammmm ummmm of people 😢. Voices irritate me if not spoken in certain way 😢. Ur voice was soothing, I could hold my ADHD & i could watch your full video. Thank you. I am a solo girl too & at this stage of life, I have no friend, no bf…I am loosing my motivation. So just trying to gather what’s left in me through getting motivated by single girls life. That’s how I found your video. 😢
Ah, thank you!!! Don't lose motivation, sis. Every time you feel it waning, do something that re-motivates yourself. Hopefully you're also using something like a visual saving tracker that reminds you of your progress each time you look at it. xx
Pilates helps with back pain and core strength. This sounds like an excuse to just not exercise. Yoga I agree is dangerous, but this is really ridiculous. It’s been proven to help with back pain, elongating muscles and recovery. There’s nothing demonic about it.
It doesn’t look disgusting. I’d honestly love to be the one in charge of washing the scabs off when it’s time haha. Plus, I think it’s amazing how inexpensive the process has become and that you no longer have to have large strips of scalp removed. The healing process is also very interesting to see when it gets to this stage with the scabs/shells.
@@SleekSheikh thank you very much! Not sure of the address but it was in building they were using while their proper building was being renovated. Hope that helps
I was doing some Pilates this week, and it just kept convicting my conscience because it just felt like idolatry to me… I tried to detach the spiritual aspects and think of it as exercise, but the obvious influences of yoga were just too blatant that I couldn’t ignore the deliberate sin I was in practicing this. I must admit that I have been doing some yoga stretches as well, and I feel such a need to repent of my sin in doing so, and bring it to the Lord in prayer. Thank you for this video, it solidified what was impressed on my heart & conscience by the Holy Spirit. 🤍
Thank you for this - quick question: I want to get my transplant soon, but I want to bring a friend. Would the Hotel allow them to stay in the same room with me?
I'm honestly not sure about those as they are taught in very specific ways in yoga etc. which may make something which should be clean and beneficial suddenly unclean- pray about them- ask Holy Spirit for guidance and discernment 👍🏽
@@TheWellnessAbbey you worship father son and Holy Spirit? That’s 3 Gods is the trinity yeshua said shema Israel 🇮🇱which means God is one do you know worshipping 3 Gods is idolatry? No one prayed to Jesus in the Bible cause only the father is God
Thank you for this research. I’ve been researching but couldn’t find much on it somehow. But every time I tried Pilates… it never felt right. Well I got my answer. It’s a NO
Hi I had my hair done in a centre in London, I am following the post op care but I’m 22 days in and noticing shock loss and shedding. I’m very worried because some areas the hair looks balding and other areas very sparse. Did you experience similar situation, how long did that phase last. Also you mentioned wearing a wig with a silk cap under it to protect the transplant area is that ok?
@@genevievemarsh4154 shock loss I'd normal and part of the process, sis- try not to worry. My shock loss started growing back fully around the 4.5 monrh mark- that's when the recipient area looked less like it was balding. That's what I did, personally, but ideally keep away from wigs and braids entirely is the best. Nothing tight should be worn around the recipient area at all going forward if possible. I've given up with wigs totally now- I prefer wearing headscarves.
Many doctors, neurologists, psychologists, etc agree that trauma is stored in the subconscious mind/body. There is a lot of scientific research on this. Somatic processing is a technique used to access and heal these traumas stored in the subconscious. The technique itself is not spiritual and and I don’t believe it to be unbiblical. Just because the founder himself is not Christian, does not mean we can’t use his discoveries. Many life saving medications were created by people who are not Christian. The medication/treatment itself is not necessarily wrong, just because the founder/creator beliefs do not align with our own.
I was sad to see you getting so emotional during the PRP treatment! Sending you love and positivity ♥️ Do you regret getting a hair transplant at all? Also, did you ever try minoxidil (Rogaine) before getting your transplant?
Great video sis, thanks for sharing! I skipped over the part where she took your blood! Lol. But so glad you found a caring, knowledgable person to do your treatments for you. 🙏🏽 praying you get the results you want. In the meantime, don’t stress too much, your hair looks wonderful. Lovely and thick and the sparseness can easily be covered (it’s definitely not noticeable from the video) xx
You're welcome!!! Lol- that and the injections into the scalp are difficult to watch! Me too, sis 🙌🏽 amen! Thank you xxxx So true- thank God it isn't actually noticeable!!!!!!
She’s really a professional, quite knowledgeable and I’ve learnt a lot just from this video. . Please can you send details of this clinic if you don’t mind please. I’ll like to have my sessions with her. I’m 5days post op and I’m scared they must have over harvested too😫😫
Hey, Nikky! She is! I even realised this morning that I forgot to mention 2 other things she told me to do post my PRP, so I'll include those in my September update video when I go for my 2nd session. I learnt a lot from her, also. Her name's Sagal and her website is polished-beauty.co.uk/ . Her instagram is instagram.com/polishedbeautylondon/ Sorry to hear that, hun 🙁 Over harvesting is our worst nightmare, honestly. What makes you worry they may have over harvested?
@@TheWellnessAbbeyThanks so much for your response . I’m not so happy with the way the back is, I feel the person who extracted concentrated more on my left side cause it looks more sparse than the right side. Anyways, I’m sure when the hair gets fuller, it will be less obvious. Meanwhile, I’ve been trying to check for deals as you said you did for your own prp. Is it okay if you run me through how you went about it please , I googled grubhub but I’m seeing only restaurant results. Please how did you go about getting the deal. Thanks as I await your kind response
Sure enough, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
I just went to HEVA 3 weeks ago. You videos helped me decide between HEVA and Longevita ❤ You mentioned thyroid issues. Do you think that may also be the culprit? Thyroid issues causes hair thinning/loss, especially in women.
I hope it went well for you!!!!! How is your recovery going? I don't know you know, but thank God I'm now on medication, so hopefully that helps restore my hair!!! 😅
@@TheWellnessAbbey my recover is quite fast. My scabs were almost gone by day 7 and I started shedding shortly after. I started panicking, but I was told ppl heal at a different pace. I’m glad you’re taking medication now 💜 please Keep us posted on your hair journey
Hi girl! I’m also in the fence on yoga but this video might help you.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pJCbAjC0DNk.htmlsi=4djgAKkYfAp9_vGt
Pilates also trained in circus skills, boxing and wrestling. He worked closely with Rudolf laban and his work with dancers greatly influenced the pilates method. Such as George Balanchine and Martha Graham. One of the most defining inspirations to the evolution of the pilates method, (you might not know) is the fact that Joseph Pilates was interned in the isle of wight during WW1. He worked as an orderly and helped to rehabilitate amputees by using the springs on the bed to offer resistance in his exercises, that gave birth to the reformer and cadillac equipment . The Pilates method has come a long way since then and science based research carried out by biomechanics and physiotherapists shows the amazing benefits of Pilates. I think perhaps you haven't found the right teacher. (Cough-cough 😂) I'll definitely keep teaching Pilates underpinned by my experience in ballet, contemporary dance, and somatic practices such as skinner release and feldenkrais. I hope the holy spirit guides you to a practise and teacher that aligns with your faith.
@@Love-your-body-Pilates-UK People need to listen to the Holy Spirit on this one, research it for themselves, keep the focus on the origins (who teaches it now/today is irrelevant from a spiritual perspective) and take all the info together as a whole I.e. not ignore some parts of the information about him / his practice because other information about him/it is positive/neutral/concerning. Respectfully, if a yoga teacher did/does all of the things Joseph did, I still wouldn't attend their class / do yoga because I'd be picking and choosing what to ignore.
@TheWellnessAbbey yes try to avoid any type of pressure on your hair. Try to go natural. there are plenty of tutorials for our natural short hair. I was always 4c natural with short hair. Avoid braiding, wigs etc, and let your scalp breathe. I'm sure you'll end up finding your hairstyle. Courage 💜
After watching you're video, I definitely am going to stop doing pilates. It does make me sad to have to give up exercise that seems effective, but God comes first.
