Glad to find you here. I’m Mircea. I live in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, but “My STREET” is actually on all the beautiful locations I get to visit and enjoy all around the world. Everywhere I Sleep, Train, Race, Eat, Experience & Travel.
These are the things I write, take pictures and make videos about.
Follow also the Website, Facebook and Instagram accounts for more related content. I will always try to include relevant information so that it can be useful to you, with images identical to real life, no filters, no color grading, just the way that comes out from the cameras.
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful motivational video.. recently I have undergone knee surgery and I am sure this video will accompany me in my fastest recovery.
we didn't met any angry car drivers when we went there. Keep in mind that this region lives during summer from the revenue that cyclist tourists bring in the area so I noticed that local drivers are not that bad when they pass.. At least that was our experience. You could also access the path directly from Limone sul Garda, with no car traffic at all.
Vienna has a good course for PB, it's quite flat and nice atmosphere. For me it didn't worked to obtain a PB as that specific day but the race was amazing. Good luck for your next event !
Excellent video showing off Timișoara, the run, and that beautiful little camera. Surprised at how good the video is. What software are you using for editing?
Brilliant video, thanks! It got me very excited to ride the climb and surrounding areas when I'll be in Makarska for a week in late September. I need to rent a nice road bike. It looks like Momentum is the (only) local shop that has decent road bikes. If you know, is that the best place to contact to reserve a bike? Thx again for the great Sveti Jure vid.!
@@BicycleMotorpacer thank you. Unfortunatelly I can't help with that info as I had my own bike on that trip. Let us know how it was when you will be back!
thanks for the video. I will be visiting corfu next week. Trying to decide if i should bring my roady with 30 tires or gravel with 38. What do you suggest?
@@ckavi2647 if you like road cycling then a road bike with 30 is perfect. As you saw on the video the asphalt is not always perfect. We did the routes with 25, it was ok but 30 would be even better. If you want to have more freedom to go also on some gravel sections and don't care about the asphalt at all then go for the second option. Enjoy your trip ! Let us know how was it in the end.
hey Alberto, I can't say for sure as we had our own bikes. I'm pretty sure that in the cities of Commo or Lecco there are some rental services as the area is quite popular for cycling. Enjoy !
Nice demos, thanks ! Did you make any video explaining your process to capture clean audio on the 360 while you ride ? Or do you use a separate device and re-synch later maybe ? Thanks !
thanks for the suggestion, that's a good idea for a future video. I usually record directly from the Insta360 (if now wind) or with an external mic recorder and then sync everything in the editing software
@@MySTREETvideos Thanks for your reply. Interesting how the Insta360's sound is pretty decent even though it's not that close to your face then. There's no possibility to plug an external mic (or bluetooth it) to that camera, right ?
@@meyqool As far as I know with the new models there is the possibility of connecting to DJI mic or other bluetooth mics. I have an old Instamic microphone but I don't really use it as you saw that the direct sound from the camera is quite good...maybe just using a muff should be enough even at high speed
it depends on each person recovery process. For her it took some months to be able to walk alone, without help and close to one and a half years if I remember correctly to be able to walk without any visible limping.
@@Matthewdupree-hu6jk it's a great piece of road, I hope you will get the chance to ride it or at least drive. To answer your question: it's as safe or unsafe as you make it. Like any other big alpine road out there if you descend it within your capabilities it will be ok but if you want to take risks and go faster than you can controll then...it's on you :-)
@@Matthewdupree-hu6jk I would say late June (if they clear the snow in time) or early July + September. July and August it's warm and nice but don't go on weekends as it's packed with cars
hello. I want to run this with my wife. Is ir easy to register like you pay a fee and that is it. Or you need to apply in a difficult manner like in NYC/Boston marathon?
In unii ani e deschis chiar si in octombrie/noiembrie dar depinde foarte mult de vreme.
WARNING !! This video is missleading! This is 3 km bike/pedestrian path , max speed is 10 km . Author of the video says that In the Riva di Garda starts the best part ! Thats simply not true :D. You need to ride in dense traffic 6 km in tunnels to get there !! Not exactly safe ! There are lots more option guys for beautiful bike paths in the area . This is just not one of them ! Don’t trust this channel !
hello there. Please watch the video as I clearly mentioned that it's only 3km long . Also in the description it is mentioned : "keep in mind that between Riva del Garda and the start of the 3 km suspended path you have to ride on a road with car traffic and lighted tunnels. Drivers are very used to cyclists as the entire area has a huge cycling popularity. We saw so many other cyclists on the same segment and we didn't felt anytime in danger (but that was our experience). If you start from Limone sul Garda the bike path begins right from the city." There is a tunnel shown also in the video.
Thanks for the video. It was really useful. I stayed in Kontokali but it was easy to link up with the routes you posted. Pantokrator and beyond was a good ride. Nothing too steep until the 1km up to the summit where the road turns to rubble. Fantastic views. Generally the roads were better than I expected and surprisingly quiet. I also rode Sokraki, Lakones, Liapades beach. The road up Sokraki was poor but the view are stunning. The descent had better roads but a few potholes. The beach was beautiful and very quiet. The road back to Kontokali was probably the best and again not much traffic. Over all, a positive experience and I'll likely go back.
thank you for the feedback. It's great to hear that you used the routes. Thanks also for the great updated info from the spot, maybe others will read this and find it usefull. Have a great day !
@@MySTREETvideosI also put together a short video. Not as slick as yours. Happy memories. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RQ5CBK61PTc.htmlsi=RagjOppf7hKXwakm
Pauline crashed and abandoned the race due to deformed brakelever? Mona crashed at the very same spot and continued. Well earned silver medal. Bravo! ❤️
That airpressure horn operator near the camera is driving me crazy… and so does Mona Mitterwallner, but in a good way. Once again she came out of nowhere to the silver medal, mindblowing Mona! Thanks for the spectacle! ❤️
On a smaller, and less technical scale, I plan on trying to use some of these features on my future backyard track. While not easy to ride, those are the sweetest rock gardens I've ever seen. I also checked your channel because of this video, I am now a subscriber. I will be paying very close attention to your videos on how to film. Thank You!!
hey Charlie, that's amazing, you are lucky to have a big backyard to build a MTB track. thabks for the message, hope you will enjoy the future videos also. Best of luck!
Thanks for the comment. But on the other hand you also had a World Cup MTB event organized in Snowshoe in the past years. This year I see that they moved it to Mt Van Hoevenberg - Lake Placid.
