The porterhouse furthest to the left is turned the wrong way... Also he said the tapered en goes to the front, but based on his cow, it is the other way around.
@Gypscrew the prices you are mentioning, are at my meat market. 18.99/lb for new york strip, 32.99 for dry aged. the cheaper prices are going to be at chain super markets.
lolz if your paying $20 a pound for a porterhouse your getting ripped off bigtime. I have also seen places selling dry aged NY strip steaks for $28 a pound and it's usually expensive grocery stores. meat markets usually have fair prices at least. honestly, I am so tired of cook shows promoting the most expensive ingredients
