Even though Singapore has majority Chinese but I never felt that growing up. I grew up with my Malay neighbours and my Indian tutors. We never felt any different and I embrace the diversity even more now. There was once I saw on YT that foreigners felt that Singaporeans respected them as a person first instead of skin colour. It made me proud as a Singaporean. We love people / foreigners that embrace Singapore‘s diversity.
Awesome clip ! An awesome couple who still till date after 30 years still exploring Singapore. Just like me a true blue Singaporean am still exploring Singapore. We need ppl like these couple dat appreciate us. Sadly some Singaporean still say it is a boring country.. guess it is the person dat is boring. 😅😅😅
Singapore is indeed a GREAT place to live and work. We have shared values of respect and acceptance of other races' faiths and cultural practices. I feel on the whole, Singaporeans are a civic-minded people. Majority of us will show kindness and tolerance for one another; for foreigners, visitors and tourists. This mindset is crucial in maintaining cohesion in our society and helping everyone feel a sense of belonging. We are blessed to have you be part of our SG Family. :)
Some friends and I will be visiting Arusha and the Serengeti in Tanzania 🇹🇿 in August for safari. I’m so happy to know there are Tanzanian Singaporeans amongst us 😁
Wendy, Nancy and Alvin.....you are my fellow Sinaporeans!!! Irregardless of RACE, language or religion........ This is our NDP song...that speaks louder than words... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y2ce-s3Cthc.htmlsi=mYIuQMLfcWf_hhEz We, the citizens of Singapore, pledge ourselves as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion, to build a democratic society based on justice and equality so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation".
I wonder how they were granted PR or citizenship. I know of foreigners born in SG, entered the local education system, sing mari kita daily but even when they turned adults at age 20 plus their PR application was rejected.
to b singaporean is not by birth but by choice. the choice of regardless of race, religion n language, as one united people, to build a just n equal society so as to achieve happiness, progress and prosperity for everyone. you all are most welcome 😊
It's so heart warming to see that even in a fast pace society like Singapore where everyone is caught up with making money, there is always time for kindness and compassion.
