Those top feeders literally are the best feeders, and I have been doing the same thing you do for years. The only problem I have with them is my Russians are such angry bees in hot, humid weather, like we've had in Missouri, they will swarm you. My others, no problem. I can't smoke any of my bees, as it makes them angrier. I just use light sugar water. Just ordered 3 more candyboards. Thank you!

Hi Robert, really love your video - I’ve watched it several times over a few months bc I keep forgetting the info - I finally made my candy board 🎉😅❤, was as easy as you show. High quality product for sure! I didn’t put anything on the bottom between the screen and sugar. When I put it on the hive it was bumped up leaving an 1/8” gap. Adding the wood made it worse. I just cinched everything down tight with my strap but now there’s no bee space. Anyway, wondering how to do this better next time? I’m thinking a little spacer might be in order😊
Thank you for the video. Where can I get the slats that you put on top of the frames? I went to the hardware store and the strapping they showed me was too thick (1/2"). Any suggestions? Also how big is the hole in the front?

Would love to have either of these but now I have new respect for my carbide create pro. I might not have all them toys but I can make shapes and import more than one .stl.
Cutting handholds like this will result in losing fingers, one knot and dulling blade will drag your hand across the cutter, seen it. Simply assemble the boxes before cutting hold eliminates the risk
