Play Guild Wars 2, mainly as thief, which I'm pretty bad at... I play games with my fingers, not my brains. Any uploaded videos are just fun, nothing serious; it's a game after all. Comments/thoughts/suggestions always welcome.
2 years on wvw, i still dont understand how chasing a guy for half the map on a Xv1 is any fun. any ways, good use of your abilities there, using only when necessary and not panicking like many would ;D
Wouldn't really call this an exploit, just proper use of thief blink and staff leap tbh, devs just need to make it so those areas can't be leaped to :)
@@chips8388 I wouldn't either as a dev tbh because this is used so infrequently that it isn't an issue in any T1 WvW servers so realistically doesn't matter tbf.
Well, this is how it works tho, the servers just lagging a bit. The body goes back to waypoint after dying to get rezzed there. Did you think ANet can afford to create a new functional body after every death?
Yea more than half of the WvW structures can be exploited into and not counting the gate mount exploits ppl can still do. Garri you don't even need a mount to get past outer. I actually bet during server's off hours the most serious PPT scrubs do it all the time. We have had this turd "Jamck" who uses cheats while trolling my main server(Mag). Dude is a constant spammer in chat non stop acing a tough guy, then pops a tag on and teleports around with his cheats or teleports across the map when downed and uses speed cheats as well. Dude has been reported hundreds of times a month at the least and he's still around. He started trolling and using cheats close to prob a year ago when we spawn camped his old server for days in EBG. He's the only person I have blocked all the time. Dude has got more alt accounts than I do though, so I have like 10 of his accounts blocked. Haha. Oh well, used to cheaters so I just report and move on. You can't even send video proof of cheaters to the old exploits Anet email anymore...
The fact that he already saw you with sb and you could port up at any time and yet you let him run to you and still followed fully knowing you could get away any time is how dumb this ranger is.
Don't for get the SA thiefs who never uses any sige to get in to Briar or Redlake, they just port on the lord as if that is ok and then laugh at people who complain.
@@Olvrin I agree but that do not in any shape or form mean that it is ok for people to abuse it. Especially in the form. It is a competative game mode after all so if people abuse glitches they are just as much assholes as the company who do not care for the game mode.
Who uses SA today? Condi thieves? But so you know almost anyone profession can get into both southern Alpine BLs. And with a mount you can get into more than half the structures in WvW. Though Bay isn't one I've seen done. But I bet it can be done. I report it when I see it used but it's Anet...We have this troll on my main server(Maguuma)named Jmack who rage uses tele and speed cheats and we mass report him and he hasn't been banned yet. He has for things he's said in chat for weeks or something but he has 5-6 accounts. And when I'm on my Blackgate acct is when I see much of the exploiting into towers. I've yet to see it done while on my EU alt acct but I imagine it happens just as much. I see ppl climb SW tower like the Mad King's tower constantly. It looks SUPER easy to do which is just dumb. At least with the mount and gate exploit takes some practice and skill I wager... You used to be able to send video proof to exploits@arena.net but not anymore. The fact they don't have a cheating option in the drop-down menu when you report someone after 11yrs shows how little they care about it.
That depends; I have posted a bug/glitch that meant when I hit respawn, I did... where I died - not at the wp I clicked. However, in the video, aware of this, I didn't leave until he'd vanished (respawned) - so not that bug. So what glitch gets him from spawn back to that point within 25s (if you imply he gets back in again).
@@chips8388 I dont care if you respawn or not, the rules is SUPER clear and say do not abuse bugs and glitches. You can read them your self instead of aruge with me about it.
Yes, and has also been pointed out on the forum - if you don't still put in the effort to report, then absolutely nothing can or will ever happen. Which is a very valid point. On a personal level, I can't be bothered anymore. Overall lack of caring for the game.

Assuming you mean weapons? The sword is Shining Blade, and the dagger is Incinerator. Short bow is dreamer, but transmuted to be less obvious projectile wise.
Nothing is more satisfying than being in a 1vs2+ situation and you manage to kill at least one enemy player by punting him off a cliff 😊 let gravity even the playing field 😅
Yeah, this guy does it on pretty much any map, any keep/tower and used to encourage it in /m/t chat... no idea if he is still around, I doubt ANet did anything about it :D
He was in our matchup the other week, a couple more videos submitted to Arenanet. Considering Arenanet have now been shown several videos of the same player, over several months, exploiting into towers and keeps (which they've allegedly said is against ToS) you can only draw the conclusion that it isn't. It's all fine and dandy.

Hi, thanks for the comment - you'd have to help me out with a timestamp :) Easy check is to watch the icons above my utility bar. The port back has a time frame. If it expires, then can port again - could it be that? (example when I don't use port back when I should is just before 36s; if I had swapped back to sword from short bow I could have return ported towards the wurm and then ported to it with sword 2 again, as the window of opportunity to port was still open. As it was, it closes, so when I switch back to sword I port to the target having never used the return previous.
@@fenriskarvainen4031 Added to the description waffle; I tend to run either Eagle or Infiltration - but pack, scholar or fireworks runes all work well - just depends what stats you want and what bonus you're after.
