Hi there! Playing guitar is my hobby, I do not have a formal musical education, just took lessons with a teacher for a few years (almost no theory, playing technique mostly). So I started to playing using other people tabs and was wondering how could they transcribe/arrange anything for guitar. Then I tried to create tabs for other guitar covers and suddenly realized that I can play something by ear and finally I tried to arrange something by myself (it was Priscilla's Song from The Witcher: Wild Hunt).
Usually I don't do requests as I have a huge list of songs I would like to arrange/play, but I consider suggestions as they may add some new songs to that list.
I share all my tabs for free, you may get them there: drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B52TdvJ24TU6bzJaajBNdWlRSEE
yeah such a hollow / empty ending for that game, not necessarily a bad thing but it definitely leaves a desire for resolution. We got this and many other good songs out of it though.
To many. Being forgotten is the most scary thing in the world. Because unlike everything else, it shares the same existance as death. It's gonna happen. No one out runs Death, no one is truly remembered for who they were. Even the people whose names are still said even now. Caeser, hitler, etc. They are remembered for their actions and what happened. But even then... They too shall be forgotten. There's a comforting sensation in being forgotten.
its very good but it feels a little slow compared to the real song. If you prefer the song to be a little slower I suppose its best. or just put the video on 1.25 speed xD
I learned to play this song on the guitar when the game came out many years ago. Or at least I thought I knew how to play it. Turns out I never did Time to pick up the guitar again, out of shame. But also determination to learn this beautiful song correctly. Your playing is an inspiration to me. Thank you.
Thanks for taking me back in time to the days when i first played Chrono Trigger. Thank you for this cover! Also i really enjoyed your Heroes of Might and Magic covers :)
Could you please allow me to sing with this guitar sound on my streaming? Of caurse, i'll write URL of this movie and your channel name on summary of my stream.
Огромное спасибо за стандартный строй. Многие произведения, которые цепляют душу, часто играют не в стандартном строе и с этим очень много проблем у меня. Особенно потому что у меня одна гитара. :D
There truly are no words to describe the immense feeling and emotion this track gives off. I was eight years old when I played Chrono Cross... maybe that is why it has a special place in my heart. I cry every time I hear this. The track is beautiful, and the association with my youth and innocence makes it all the more meaningful. I'm 31 now, and even my wife does not understand. She supports but she can't fathom how a video games association like this could exist, how the pieces of those experiences are encapsulated perfectly in even just one track. I can look no more fondly at the past.
That must've been a beautiful experience. My old best friend introduced me to it and it reminds me of our young life chasing JRPGS and playing them over the house phone, having to hang-up to go online with dial-up to look up the strategy guide.
Same for me. I was 15 when Chrono Trigger came out and it was the perfect escape for all the teenage angst, social pressure and just be a kid again. My wife also doesn't understand this kind of association. Can't blame her since she grew up in a much different environment than I did.
I'm right there with you brother. I was nine years old when I first played this game. I'll be 34 in a few months. Nobody in my entire life understands how much this song and this game for that matter means to me. Whenever I hear this song, it reminds me of my childhood. It's such a bittersweet feeling, knowing that life was and never would be the same after that. I don't know who you are, but I wish you and your wife the best of luck in life ❤
Wow, talk about magical journey, what a story, what a soundtrack, what amazing characters, love the time I played and cherished every moment enjoying this masterpiece. Awesome cover by you, brought back so many wonderful memories. The time my mom was alive… loved it. :’)
