The place where Sean and friends build cars, break cars and everything in between. There will be fast cars, cool trucks, all kinds of tools and toys, guns, explosives, and a whole lotta of Freedom!
Calm down chief. This is an old video so I don't know what you're referencing about the heads, but the LH6/L33 is basically a small bore LS2. Which is probably what I said. Maybe take a break from the internet for a while...or forever...
Hey it's rickster321654, great to see you back working on the beast! Life can be chaotic for sure but take it as it comes and enjoy the ride. Can't wait to see more vids.
If its breathing like you showed on the video then it either needs a complete rebuild or scrap it the MF Perkins engine was never known for these systems unless it has been abused and fair to much ether which can cause internal engine components failure.🇬🇧🇬🇧🇮🇪.
The MF 50 wheeled loader excavator auto transmission should accelerate when you are either in forward or reverse with each pedal the further the individual pedals are pushed down, The engine is not governed by a conventional system like a agricultural tractor, We owned these backhoe in United Kingdom for several years, The achilles main problem with all MF wheeled loaders are the slew motor on the rear excavator which is a pain in the arse because they always want to slew back to the centre rather then keeping in either left or right full slew.🇬🇧🇬🇧🇮🇪.
If you take some time to review Richard holdner's Dyno videos you will find the Holley hi ram is worse than the stock LS3 intake, and the 08+ 6.0/6.2 truck intakes.
Yeah, it might be annoying later. The thought was I need to remove and change all the brackets front and rear for the axles/suspension/steering anyway. We'll see if it was a good idea or not lol.
Thank God for uncles. If you are in High range, it shouldn't free-wheel but make sure it is parked in Lo range so you can get it out of gear later. Change all your filters immediately or suffer if they fall apart when running. If maintained, these old girls will run forever. And replace parts when it needs it, don't try to repair.
I love that you're running Deutsch connectors. The Toyota snobs might raise their noses, but they are so great to work with! I do want to point out that those are not the correct crimping pliers for a Deutsch pin. It looks like you're using Iwiss crimpers, so refer to part # HD-2612 for the correct crimper. This will get you the ability to pin 3 different sizes. Also helpful to get the small tool to help you remove the pins and separators from the connector if you need to move wires. Quite handy. You could easily carve one out of a small flathead screwdriver if desired. What bulkhead fittings are you using to get through the firewall- both the multi-pin connector and the singles?? I am really liking your build!!
I'm using a Deutsch HDP20 bulkhead. The HD2616 crimper is for solid pins. I'm using stamped DT pins which require the 1424A, which is what I have. And I agree, switching to all new standardized connectors makes life infinitely easier later.
The algorithm suggested your video and I let it play because of the title. RU-vid knows me. I looked over at your intro when you were showing your channel name and I thought it was hilarious. Also, I like the great value brand Blink 182 music.
You make it look easy. Tony Angelo’s channel put out 45min-1hour videos consistently. Yeah he is a celebrity but the “feature length” videos are great. More time lapse isn’t a problem at all. Your commentary is perfect. Seeing welding and fabrication time lapse is just fine. You make it look easy Sean!
The time lapse is great for the repetitious welding. I like to see more fabrication, making templates and transferring that to steel. The different gauges for different applications is something that doesn’t get mentioned often. All said it was interesting, informative and a good length. Thanks and looking forward to seeing more.
Tough decision: family vs. hobby. Glad I don't have to choose. But, that truck is TOO RARE not to. You gotta go for it. I would love to see what it's supposed to look like. Best of luck and congrats on the future baby.
I love this channel! I am stoked on the crew cab, I am stoked on the new CNC. I am doing a 12v in a 74 dentside highboy. I am really excited to learn about rust repair on my favorite channel. I think the ideal situation would be to find another mostly solid cab that is missing a lot of the parts you have. Idc what you do I’m just stoked for dentside content. 460 zf5? May is gonna be here before you know it. Goodluck Sean
I've personally gotten more than 100 passes no ring gap lq4 6.0 30+ psi. My friends and I don't even touch that. New bearings cam bearings as well big cam and fucking send it. Blow it and hit up junk yard do it again.
