Just used wicked airbrushpaint with an airbrush for the smoke, dirt, oil trails and stains. Used thinned black in the pannel lines and ordinary silver for the paintchips. Just be patient and use your imagination.
can you tell me how you did the weathering so well? What paint did you use for the silver? and for the black? And how you get that smoky brushed look with the black? Thanks looks awesome
i'm not an RC flying ACE either, just started this year. Only thing i can tell you, it flies very gentle and is really scale like, so it's no racer. Think if you are familiar with Floater and Wings, this baby will be easy to fly by you.
Very nice weathering technique.. I have started the same on my 1400mm FMS Mk IX Spitfire. Having ordered yesterday the Mk 24 from HK..I may well follow your lead on that aircraft too. It really does stand out as a hard worked, combat blooded veteran fighter. Nice.
Nice weathering job and great video~!! I guess you're one of the scale modeler :) My Spitfire MK.22/24 is flying with 4cell and 60A ESC. Happy Flying :)
Just had to make here a bit more lived with some weathering, used silver paint and a small brush to simulate scuffed paint chips and used an airbrush with black paint to simulate dirt, oil and smoke trails. Nice flying by you to, to much wind for me, very scary first handlaunch but great recovery, have lots of safe flight with it.
