Pro tip: best time is when a hurricane/tropical storm is passing *near* but not a direct pass over central Florida. Close enough to make people say "hellllll no, we're not going to Disney with a storm passing by," but also with conditions that aren't bad enough to shut down the park.😅 Had several friends do it now, and you've got next to no lines.
Interesting. While it is true that an impending hurricane will clear out the parks, planning a trip to time things right is difficult. Plus, hurricanes change paths so it is not a sure thing it will pass. But for locals, it sounds like a great idea.
We stil love Caribbean especially now redone and the skyline links making Epcot and Hollywood easy to get back and forth throughout the day for rests or park hopping
Yes, the Caribbean Beach is a hidden gem for a moderate resort. Although, we just stayed at Coronado Springs Grand Destino tower. Be on the lookout for that video review!
My husband and I went at the end of January for 8 nights, stayed at Wilderness Lodge, 7 day park hoppers, flights to and from Houston, rental car - spent right around 10K
@eatsleepdisneyparks absolutely we would. Stayed there on our honeymoon and this was our 10 year anniversary. Next year we are staying at Contemporary though
My mom and I are flying in on august 9th to the 14th. We are staying five nights at art of animation, and we have two four day magic passes with two tickets to mickeys not so scary Halloween party. The resort, park and party tickets, and plane tickets cost 3,228 dollars. I’m going to take another 2000 for food and souvenirs and transportation.
I’m going solo in August. For seven nights at Pop Century and a four day park hopper ticket it was about $1500. I also bought a Halloween party ticket and an after hours ticket for Hollywood Studios which was another couple hundred. Flight from San Francisco to Orlando was $400. Mears Connect was $32. I’m budgeting $500 for food, Genie+, and souvenirs. So maybe about $2500 - 2700 total.
Thanks for the feedback. Seems like you got a great price on your flight. Would love to hear how much you end up spending on food and souvenirs when you get back.
Really if you're going to spend $1,500 on Disney World tickets for a solo trip. Your best bet is to get the most expensive annual pass your parking is free if your bringing a car to park. If you come back within a year already paid for park admission You also get annual pass discounts sit down restaurants, merchandise, and on-site hotels; my opinion offsite Hotel way cheaper even with the discount if you have a car to get around.
There's no ability to "recharge" a magic band. However, no battery is needed for any of these 6 functions. It's the internal RFID chip that makes it work. No battery required.
Do you really think spending thousands of dollars on just a few days of fun that requires hours and hours of stress to plan out is really worth it? Is the mouse so important that you spend your life savings on Disney for a couple weeks of artificial joy. Is it really a vacation?
Just missing the Honey I shrunk the kids set, and the ANIMATION courtyard with the 2D animation Department , behind-the-scenes tour.. Oh and great Movie Ride of course! Otherwise I love the additions especially Tower of Terror! Just hope Aerosmith will STAY and NOT be RE-THEMED as well!🙄🙏🏻
I respect your opinion so i'll just give out my top 5 in no particular order (won't count Tron since i've never ridden it) Space Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Haunted Mansion Carousel of Progress(feels nice to take a good 15-20 minutes to get off your feet especially on a hot day) would be Splash Mountain but since it's currently closed i'll take Pirates of the Caribbean
