i think makeup is fun when you use it for the fun of it. for example, a cute pink lip gloss or mascara always makes me feel pretty and happy like a kid. however it turns dark when your ego and confidence is dependent on it and its used as a mask and girls go in pounds of face makeup concealing their face and taking away all the natural contours and skin from their face. i'm a painter so it always bugs me how unnatural it is in real life too haha. almost everybody looks pretty without it imo
Hey Millie, Dutch woman here. In my country it's totally normal for women to not wear make-up. I wore make-up until I was around 20-ish. Then I stopped and never looked back, really. I am 32 now and when I wear make-up I feel uglier than without. It is really a matter of getting used to it! Wearing make-up now feels like wearing a mask, no matter how light I apply it. Edit: Typo
Hey! Absolutely, I think it’s becoming more and more so. My girls back home are 99.99% make-up free and that has always encouraged me to not wear it too. After working on myself inwards, I can now work outwards. A lot of women resonate with the idea after not wearing makeup for so long that they prefer themselves without it. I think the power really lives in loving yourself regardless as some women look at makeup like an art form rather than a cover up. Your message is such a good insight and thank you so much for sharing ✨🦋💚
@@milliemmh__ The last part is very true. I don't wear make-up outside of the house, but I do own some products and enjoy putting on make-up sometimes while I am chilling and watching movies or a show 😂
Millie Millie Millie! Sat here at the airport with no a speck of make up on and you made me think of my younger 24 year old self (I’m now 32) and I feel beautiful because just like you I was gifted moments to strip everything back and grow to see the real me. And I bloody love her! You’re an inspiration and yes you are 10000% not the only one who has put concealer on before bed haha! Beautiful scenes, beautiful women. I love you and can’t wait to see what you get up to next! ❤
I spent 55 years surfing, windsurfing and kiteboarding Cali, Baja and Maui. You are ALWAYS SCARED but never afraid. That is the key. Two very different powerful mindsets. Being AFRAID will destroy your life. Being SCARED will make you smart, keep you frosty and ensure you always are ready. But after a lifetime in that ocean and just one sting-ray enounter in 2 feet of water (that don't count!) the OCEAN is exactly what George Greenough said, "The Innermost Limits of Pure Fun!" Blessings to you Millie Mollie May.
Hi, this was a beautiful message. I looked into George Greenough it looks like he did amazing things for the surf community, so thank you for sharing him with me.
@@milliemmh__ I was one of the original So Cal Kneeboarders thx to Greenough out of Santa Barbara who invented it and pionereed windsurfing which I did for 20 years too. But if you REALLY want to be inspired... Margo Godfrey Oberg, my all-time idol. 1st pro female surfer won world title at 15... I was 8 and a grommet LOL, but she was an amazing women. Also, Jericho Popplar, the first dancer to be a surfer, and to me, the icon of grace. Hope you have a good live in the water like I did!
I’ve been scared of it too!!! But it’s a place I run to when my problems feel to big! The ocean ALWAYS makes my problems so small! ♥️ bloody fantastic video Mills! Surfsssssss urrpppp bishhhhhh! 🏄♀️💙🦋
Giiiiiirl, this video made me so, so happy! I did a road trip through Alberta, Canada last September, and those were the best weeks of my life. It's so beautiful, and I totally feel you when you say you thrive in that environment. Canada saw the best version of me, and I find myself dreaming about it every day.
Im so glad you get it! honestly I'm morning this summer and it hasn't even finished yet. How stunning is Canada! so happy for you, keeping dreaming girllllll
