Update 2023: Nanay (grandmother) has passed May 2022 so she'll be watching in heaven. Also, I've now moved to Canada, still a nurse.
Random vlogs (past and present) of a Filipina 🇵🇭 nurse in the UK 🇬🇧 and Canada. Uploaded videos so the family, especially the grandmother, could see what I’m up to.

This video gives me inspiration to pursue Nclex RN in Canada. I have a question. How can I process the application for nclex Canada? Thank you Ma'am Leslie.
That's great! Start with NNAS application, they verify the documents and give a report whether your education is comparable to the Canadian one or not. Once that's done, you can then apply to the registration body of the province you want to work at.
@@kingsondy2444, that is the process. I did all that outside Canada pa. Parang sa US, di ba you have to apply sa state na gusto mo magpunta and then they will give you NCLEX eligibility. The same in Canada, but they have to verify your education through NNAS first. And once may report na ang NNAS, they will send it to the provincial nursing body you want to work in. And then that registration body will give you either NCLEX eligibility or tell you to study again.
@@LeslieOnline thank you Ma'am. Now, I am planning to take the nclex New York and someone told me that the license can be endorsed to Canada. Which is more expensive, taking nclex new York and licensed endorsement to Canada or directly taking Nclex Canada? Thank you
@@kingsondy2444, it's the same NCLEX so I think it'll be the same cost. They say it will be easier to apply for NY and receive eligibility compared to Canada. Sa Canada, you apply sa province na gusto mo mag work and then you have to wait kung ano decision nila - if you're going to do a bridging program or take the NCLEX.
