Your almost all items are with water bomb buff. What if all of them with Icicle Storm? I think you can hit more. Maybe not in pve but absolutely in pvp.
if only the game actually gave me aptitudes and when it does, doesn't be arctic icicle. Triple shoulder (1 spider, dragon, shop) 3 arctic icicles, rip. 5 110 rolls, no triple stats and 1 green water spirit aptitude. So i just quit on top of being 5-6 gcds behind where i should be without stone skill. You can check the vid i linked, i'm losing up to 20 swings to desync. You can argue water bombs over storm in pvp if you want to factor in downtime on buffs on more open maps like the big frozen map and target swapping in and out of range.
in real raid this build drop to 3k avg trust me XD this build sucks im an ice mage with 5-6k dps on real raid not on dummy 1st time i saw you build cooldown on ur ice mage i already know whats the result XD
Haven't been 3k in raid in weeks except on a lot of downtime on spider. Even 5/8 no 2/2 set was still pulling more than 3k back with lvl 40 inscribe without optimized gear and input lag/desync I don't think you are optimizing the advantage of cooldown fully or you have input lag or desync
I don't understand, I put everything the same as you and nothing,I surpass you in all attributes except focus, I have 927 and I still don't go over 3.4k dps... why would that happen, just because of the focus?

i never copy any build i just explore the ice mage alone we have same skill talent build but not in inscribe i did much more dps 4-5k/s depends on proc try getting burst with rare endow 12% atk for 5sec if burst inscribe proc my water spirit crits for like 30-40k cheer up men ice mages rocks
Because your combo is already so high, you get a ton of dps from crits. Adding more combo and the other damaging emblems only scale with atk, not omni, combo damage, etc, isn't really worth it right now because you already hit the last tier of passive with ice increase and/or fortune buff. Combos cannot proc damaging emblems like sprawl but they are affected by crit %, by adding crit, you essentially add double damage on one hit every few seconds. this does more damage than any damaging emblem, even a 5 stack sprawl only does like 200 250 a tick but doesnt have 100% uptime. Crit % scales with ability damage because crits are higher. Since icicle storm can't crit, you also have a higher chance of rolling crit on water spirit which is a massive increase in dps.
Not an exact rotation because you have combo RNG for extra water generation and ice increase resets. At my stats, water Spirit always fills at least 2 water bars by itself and water bomb is anywhere from 2-4 to fill up one bar depending on combos. Requires quite a bit of reactionary responses for full optimization. Then it's all about good water management and some luck. Keep water spirit for immediately after icicle storm for full water gain (or you can cleave with it, big AOE damage), or if you have lower gear, you can use it below 1 1/2 water bars. For ice increase, because of 20% CD, the optimal rotation is (full water). Ice + spike (use ice increase as close to the spikeweed gcd as possible) > spike x2 > storm > spirit > water bombs till water fill, heavy reactionary for optimized DPS with combos > spike x3 > storm. When you don't have spirit up idk like still 10s left, you can just use ice increase whenever, it's CD should be pretty close to coming up when spirit does because of combo resets. Numerically on default, opener: 6 4 111 (fill) 2 2 2 3 1111111 (fill) 2 2 2 3. Mid rotation from full water: 6+2 2 2 3 4 1111 (fill) 2 2 2 3 111111 (fill)
Also, frost mage is heavily reliant on gcd spam, so any lag or ability delay is a massive killer in dps. I range anywhere from 31 - 34 water bombs only over 30s when I get just a little bit of lag. I'm losing up to 3 gcds to nothing, big rip.
I'm only doing 2.2k even though I set up everything the same apart from some little lacks in the inscribed tree, am I realling missing out 1k dps from my inscribed stone setup (I also have 8/8)
nah, that sounds more like poor water management or buff uptime. You want to only use water spirit for water generation at or below 1 1/2 water bars (preferably at 0 or just past 1) and ice increase for 3 spikeweed > storm > water spirit > water bomb till full > 3 spikeweed > storm. The rotation and ability usage is way more important than any gear.
There are only 3 or 4 pieces that give hit. You can inspect them in the shop/raid using the "+" icon when you hover over a section. It shows the possible stat pools to roll from for each piece and section. You are aiming just for the absolute minimum requirements for the raids, any after that is useless for hit

What you really want is 19.7% CD or higher, this allows you to catch 6 spikeweed 2 ice storm and a water spirit in one ice increase if you use ice increase at the same time as your first spikeweed.
