Seaside N.J., my summer home since 1968! Those wonderful memories have all been erased, from a hurricane and a fire. The boardwalk is a small shell of itself. Funtown Pier is gone. Some Lucky Leo's arcades remain. The Jet Star rollercoaster sank into the Atlantic ocean, along with all of my childhood memories. RIP Seaside.
I loved this as a kid, teen, and adult. So much fun winning cigarettes on the boardwalk and getting sausage sandwiches peppers and onions at Midway stand. Look at all those normal fun loving people, miss those days. Today nothing but degenerate Democrats with green hair and tattoos with filthy clothing walking around. Sure glad I was a kid in the 60's.
I was a Midway guy, further south. But my Buddy and I in the 60-70's spent many an evening on the boards. 74 was probably the last time I was on the boards...and, yeah it two years later. Well, it looked the same, nice memories. Thank you for taking the time to share these video's.
I never knew anything about Seaside. But in the mid- to late-70s our pastor's wife, daughter and nieces would rent a house and spend a week at Seaside every summer.
