I was at the gig in Antwerp a couple of days before and I had tears in my eyes listening to her sing this song live. This video is great but the sound quality doesn't begin to do justice to the depth and tone of her voice.
Now I see why those of us in the periphery we addressed with almost a tinge of sympathy for how we're not getting the full show. Glad someone filmed what it was like from the good seats.

Oh noooo!! I've had every album since 'Radioactivity' from 1974/75 in vinyl and cassette .... What a total letdown !! After 50 years of listening to them my love affair is over ................................... That was the laziest performance ever !! And they didn't even show the LIVE footage!!! And the sound edit was horrid and amatuer!! At best I would only say that it is a 'bootleg' version. And sounds a lot like the 'Bootleg' cassette of, Kraftwerk1970 that I bought in Portugal in 1980 ... Which is actually in their discography !!!!!
And for those who don't know ... the "Speak and Spell" was actually only used very minimally on the 'Computer World' album, during the title track, for the muffled english spoken words, but not the regular Vocals. All of their 'weird' vocals throughout their discography were done on a Vocoder keyboard from Korg or Moog which both had a built-in gooseneck microphone for voice distortion. I used both in the 1970's and 80's... And there was also a handheld "Parker Bros' game/toy called "Merlin the Electronic Wizard" that was used on "Pocket Calculator" also from 'Computer World" album for the bee-boop type sound effects. And neither of these tracks were featured here .....
@@Bunjamin27 I want a copy of the original files in case this video gets deleted. I won't reupload it if they don't want me to. P.S. You constantly like and comment on technopop2000's videos. Their videos are only reuploads of other people's videos. So how about you take that into consideration before you give me flack for wanting to preserve history
Just 'search' their discography,... If it's legit it will be there, except, possibly,!the Kraftwerk (1970). which I'm not sure of soundwise, even though it is in their discography! And as I have seen videos of LIVE Monochrome performances from that era that sound so much better!!!! As I mentioned above this particular upload is sounding too much more like a Bootleg, or FAKE recording anyway So you'll want the REAL studio versions .
Tanks for sharing... great band. Love it. I have never seen them live.... wish to do so soon..... But you could have done som EQ on the sound. This would have made the whole thing far better to watch and listne to.
