Why is the debate over sequentials heating up so much lately? Been the way it is for years with minimal discussion on it until the last few weeks that I’ve seen Also side note but any chance of a WARGTR appearance? 👀
After changing to new Intake setup unless you reset the DME and then check the difference you will see none. Its why you didn't see any improvement in HP on the Yaris until the 3 run on dyno. Should always read directions completely for the CAI purchased.
Just some more awesome Andrew, impressive the JEM white 33 with the stock 5 speed & the Birrong car with n1 block 2.8. GTR's have to be the most spectacular AWD at the drags?
Sequential transmissions are not manual transmissions. You don't need a third pedal to shift. You aren't shifting in an h pattern. The time it takes to shift a conventional manual transmission with three pedals and an h pattern, versus the time it takes to shift a sequential makes it more of an automatic with a lever and manual shift points. If you are making this absurd claim you have limited to zero automotive knowledge and even less racing experience. There are different classes if a car has a metal chassis versus having composite . There are different classes depending upon what tire size you have. Somehow, according to the brain boxes in this RU-vid comment section, a transmission that functions completely differently than a manual transmission, and can shift in a third of the time, should be in the same class... Brilliant But leave it to the RU-vid comment section to get every dunce raising their hand to prove they are a dunce.
@@MotiveVideo Yes and 275/315 tires are exactly the same inside and out. Yet they have two different classes when it comes to racing. Just because (They appear identical) their performance capabilities are not. Composite fenders and metal fenders appear exactly the same. 1 of them ways a third of the other... That's why they are in two separate classes... It seems the only person lacking an education here is you. They are not the same. They do not have the same performance. They should be in two separate classes. And furthermore, uneducated people that don't want to admit there is a difference should stop saying "there isn't a difference" If there wasn't a difference, you would be using a regular manual transmission. Because nobody spends 15K on a transmission that "makes no difference"
@@ThisManTriggeredMe You nailed it bud. But people that like to cheat/skirt The rules will never admit how they are skirting the rules. This guy will argue until he is blue in the face that there is no difference, despite there being massive differences. That's how cheating works
You're Clueless. Our 5 speed dog engagement hpattern gear boxes don't require the clutch to shift only to take off. In regards to flat shift, you can set up a strain gauge (which i dont currently run) , so the only difference is the shift pattern also there is more chance of miss shift in with a hpattern, whereas a sequential is more reliable in that sense. Bottom line is if you're a good enough driver it shouldn't matter.
