No I think one week is too long. My vet and breeder said every 3 or 4 days or if they get wet???? I’ll rewatch b.c it took me one hour to post her ears by myself. Do you have any videos w one person doing it solo?

Ear cropping is considered mutilation, purely to make a dog look a certain way. It has no benefit to dogs and causes them nothing but pain and trauma.

Crule 101.stop doing it . Not allowed in any other country but the US still does it. American people weak up it us cruel hurtful to the dog.

Hi ! Perfect timing I’ve got a 2.5 month old Doberman ( just got her yesterday night) I got it from a backyard breeder With ears cropped, I believe the lady(breeder) was from Tj I’m assuming that’s where they got my new puppy’s ears cropped how ever she told me to leave the stitches on for 10 more days and the puppy supposedly got her ear cropped a week ago. I can see the stitches on the puppies ears. It looks like it’s healing right it has a frame that’s holding the ears up how ever she does have a bit of dried up blood on the stitches I will clean her up today I’m just worry about removing the the stitches on when it would be the right time.

What happens if the “lip” of the ear is folded inward?

My vet says to leave the tiniest tip of the ear untapped to breathe. That’s how my girl is tapped too.
