I'm right there with Luana on the Swedish Chainsaw scene! Best of the bunch for sure and got me playing guitar. I'm a drummer first, of course. Big cheers!
The Amazing Drummer From CRYPTA , LUANA DAMETTO . . . Love And Respect And Totally Admire Her As A Cool Person And Awesome Musician, Absolutely Gorgeous And Amazing Style., Luana And Crypta F'n Solid Insane !!!!!
The person being interviewed should have a bigger square on your screen. To see in a mobile phone, becomes too small in this way. Just my opinion as a positive. In general it's all good. Congrats to you and Luana.
I kinda have to disagree to a point with Luana on them not really having an old-school death metal sound. The mix of influences is definitely the truth, but my first impressions with them, especially with the first album, gave me distinct old-school death vibes. That said, subsequent listens and then the new album reveal all the other layers there. The black metal influence is strong, too, awesome to see Luana's a Belphegor fan! 🤘
I've always admired great drummers like Ringo Starr, John Bonham, Ian Paice, Ginger Baker, Charlie Watts... But I got the feeling that over the last 40 years drummers have been going around in circles... Everything seems tediously similar. It's incredible that two beautiful, delicate, sweet and extremely talented girls made me pay attention to the drums after many years. Luana Dametto and Paulina Villarreal have become my favorite drummers in the last 2 years. Two little giants with a talent that is out of this world! Great interview.
Lunatic Demented!!! HAHA. For real though, Luana and CRYPTA are pretty fucking cool! AWLAYS wishing nothing but the best for that band. 2 A+ albums so far!
Always such a pleasure listening to Luana! What a gem of a human being, and a lovely woman, so down-to-Earth, and of course a super-badass drummer! Thanks for posting!
Seen Burner a bunch of times at London shows and Harry's always easy to chat with. You know the words to Hurt Locker, he'll let you scream into the mic every time.
