I still break out my old K10D with its CCD sensor every so often. Put an a manual focus lens on it and take some photos. You're so right, it makes me just slow down and look a scene and create a photo. My M Series lenses are so nice to use with the K10D.
Well, first thing to check is what firmware you´re on: Hold the menu button down when you turn on the power and your firmware level will display in the window. You´ll need at least V2.01 to use a SDHC cards. Probably your FW is below that, so you have to find a old SD card with max 1GB to get your camera regognize the card, format it and do the upgrades. You will find them here: www.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/english/support/digital/20050415e.html

Hello Cecilia and thank you very much! When you get your hands on the 6Mpix camera, be welcomed to join the PentaxForums! And by the way, it doesn´t even have to be a Pentax to join to the 6Mpix club... Lots of Canons, Nikons, Minoltas, Sonys etc there... :)
I had one of these the Lance lasted 14 months when it started leaking , nilfisk replaced it , then the washer stopped completely 4 days before it was 3 years old pure scrap. Had a karcher for years and years before the nilfisk.
I think the brand itself does not tell the quality in these (and other) cheap machines. Materials are cheapest possible in order to compete with price, and old, reliable brand is used for marketing. I´d love to buy old, reliable machines used and well taken care of, but for some reason nobody wants to sell them... I fully expect this thing to break at some point, just hoping it doesn´t give up too soon :D
@@janifofonoff1035 I took mine apart and it’s the unloaded that’s faulty how you’ll know is when you press the trigger on the Lance if it takes around 5 -6 seconds for the machine to start or it won’t start at all it’s not going in or out it’s seized.
