@@MythicCardBreaks I got 2 numbered cards, a relic, and an autographed rookie card in mine! I posted a video, but I don’t know anything about card really so I don’t know if they are worth anything.
These particular boxes "Flagship collection" are Costco exclusive that have both Series 1 and series 2. The newest "superbox" at walmart and target only have series 2.
Yep just picked one up from Barnes and Noble…had the exclusive pin and all series 2 packs. Tough to choose which is better but at least Costco is cheaper by like $7 bucks
Yeah, these are not the same. And the Costco ones from winter (11/2023) did not eventually end up at Target and Walmart, they were exclusive to Costco and not the same at all.
@amberrahn385 yep I guess it boils down do you want to spend less money and get series 1 packs mixed in with series 2 plus boring looking Flagship cards or do you spend $7 dollars more and get all series 2 plus nice looking “exclusive cards”
@MythicCardBreaks the print runs on the exclusive Flagship cards in the Costco boxes are going to be a lot lower. The thicker point ones from November, for example, were very nice with a set list of 100 cards. Not every Costco received these boxes and the ones that did only received one pallet. So, compare that to the saturation of product found at Walmart and Target and then ask yourself the question again. Not to mention the oversized and companion cards in the Target and Walmart boxes were the exact same image and cards #'s as the Series product, whereas the oversized and companion cards in the Costco boxes were different. 🤔
In store these are 33.99 and the ones at target and Walmart are 10 series two packs the pin oversized and companion card and the five foils . At target there 40 and Walmart 45. The Costco ones are different from the target and Walmart ones
Yep they are totally different. If your just going for pure cost per pack obviously you get the Costco one but if you want better chances of hits you gotta get the Target ones
Looks like we go to the same Costco. The all star cards you got are supposed to be hard to come by. I picked up couple of them this morning. My hit was a number green foil on the Yamamoto and numbered brown border Jacob Young. This box did not have a small companion card. The 2nd box was a dud. Disappointed in the flagship cards. I think last year’s were much better with the thicker stock.
I want to say I clicked this only with the intention of saying “no they’re not” but imma watch this and maybe get proven wrong. These used to be so much better for $20 you could basically ensure a hit as long as there was four of these on the shelf. Now they’re 1:8 odds of a hit and there’s 20 of them on the shelf and I won’t touch em
Donruss was my favorite thing to rip this past year. I've seen a few wild Downtown pulls, so this wasn't a bad experiment. Donruss is super hard to find lately, secondary market is there but it's pricey. Good luck!
Whats the value of the singles he got if anybody can guestimate? never played magic Just asking because generally speaking opening stuff at retail nets you like 60-80% value a lot of the time unless it's garbage pokemon...
I think the Costco zapdos bundle is a better deal for 151. You get 8 151 packs for $34 plus the zapdos, electabuzz, abra evo promo cards. so you can spend $70 for 16 packs of 151
It's hit or miss tbh. I opened 4 of these. One was a total dud, 7 holos, 1 regular ex. The other three were solid/loaded, Pulled the SAR Zard, Alakazam and Erikas Invitation along with a few other nice things like Charmeleon, Omanyte x2, Poliwhirl, and a full art Venasaur. I don't normally get lucky like this, so it was nice change of pace. Edit: I didn't pull all the boxes from the exact same spot.
Yea the more I open these the more i see that some are complete trash. I know it’s 8 packs and random but definitely seems like some boxes are way better then others
@@MythicCardBreaks Oh for sure, it seems like they poured all the packs into a bin and randomly put them in. Not sure how I feel about that, on the one hand it's nice you can hit multiple bangers in one 4/8 pack, but there's also the duds which hurt. $4.25 a pack still isn't too bad all things considered.
