A very good motivational and inspiring story. It shows you that The Most High is and will bring you through the most darkest of situations of life and raise you up to be an inspiring light to others..
I just combed through this law, and it seems that very few if any will be able to access these funds. Your child's school has to be abysmal, and there's only a small percent that will qualify. Further, if you already homeschool it seems like these funds are not available for you.
Tell us you’re far removed from the average working class American without telling us you’re removed from the average working class American. “Say no more fam.” -Georgia It’s not the welfare system, it’s jobs not paying well enough that people working full time still need to apply for food stamps. Uck all the way off.
I am in urgent need of assistance regarding my CPS case. Currently, I am in the process of appealing the termination of my parental rights. Despite successfully rectifying and remedying all the issues that led to my son's removal, complying with the required services, completing required classes, and going above and beyond by voluntarily participating in additional parenting classes specific to my son's special needs, seeking additional specialized therapy for my mental health, and attending 12-step meetings (90 meetings in 90 days). Today, I am 16 months clean and sober, I am employed full-time as a personal care aide, with my own apartment. Despite these positive and substantial changes, a judge approved the termination of my parental rights, leaving me baffled as to why. It seems that from the very beginning, I was unfairly dismissed by the CPS as they decided to change the goal to adoption and subsequently pursued the termination of my parental rights after only 7 months of my son being in their care. I am in desperate need of assistance. Despite all of my efforts and progress, it seems that nothing I have done has had any impact on changing anyone's opinion regarding whether I deserve a second chance or the opportunity to be reunited with my son. It feels as though once the decision to change the goal and pursue adoption was made, everyone's minds were already set. As I prepare for my appeal, I am filled with anxiety about what the outcome will be, even though I am fully prepared to present my accomplishments and progress in court. I have gathered witness testimonies, letters of reference, certificates of completion, compliance letters, and the support of numerous individuals and organizations. I am hopeful and praying for the chance to be reunited with my son, and any assistance I can receive would be greatly appreciated. Please, tell me how I can get assistance with my case. Thanks so much in advance. Respectfully, Maria Ulloa
I appreciate the video. Henry county does not provide help to kids. I’m graceful for private schools who help kids with IEP. It’s important to raise awareness and encourage parents who have kids IEP and other disabilities to support private school. It takes a special person to care for kids. I learn public school specially in Henry county do no have what it takes.
The difference between Jack Kemp and most other members of the GOP is that he was one of the few who rejected the Southern Strategy established under Nixon, which focused on southern white voters. Most importantly, he proved to be ahead of his time, realizing that people of color need to be appealed to. He would be beyond outrage to see his party appeaing to white supremacists today.
I am grateful to run into this video, I have a long personal story I can share about the bureaucy madness of the Government System I am facing now. I would love to tell my story to get solutions on what is my next best moves so I understand your struggle without sharing my entire story online I hope all is well for you now Celina 🙏😇♥️
Amen... we need to replace the system and institutions keeping us in poverty and oppression with something better that helps us grow and isn't away to keep people treated and forced into less then while all the money continuously trickles up while those at the bottom get less then enough to live much less survive. It puts many of us in danger . It's all been corrupted. I'm going to God and praying while doing the awakening and I pray for a better way that more human and beneficial to all not just a select few. We need woman to come out of the suffering and years of neglect and bondage to rise up and be an equal say or part of this. Free the black people. The Indians are barely free but until all my brothers and sisters of every shade are free then none of us are truly free. Our future generations deserve better. We deserve better.
We kicked God out of the public schools so at least 50 years ago the kids could get moral Christian values at school if not available in the home. I remember every morning we said the pledge of allegiance to the flag which supported patriotism and then we said a prayer as a class and that was PUBLIC schools! Worst problem we had was chewing gum in the class!!
I'm employed in Workforce Services and we help homeless and those in the justice system. We offer wraparound services, but I can tell you that there is a great need for truck drivers, electricians and the trades. You can get a Class A drivers license in 6 to 8 weeks and you will make more money than me within a year!

I just served 21 years in prison in Florida and there is alot of talking and no real action, I moved to Georgia 4 years ago when I got out of prison and I was fired from a felony hiring place in Atlanta on auburn avenue because I have a 2nd degree murder charge and I didn’t even kill nobody my co-defendant was killed during the robbery, but I have no resume and jobs are demanding on applications, reference numbers from the last job are requested, I can’t show any of that, so do they want released inmates to go back to crime to survive and that’s really sad 😞
If you are still looking for work, we have many local resources to help connect you with work: betteropportunity.org/ It is a completely free resource and is part of our effort to help people get back on their feet.

Is there a link to help find more about this program, DaretoClimb? I’d love to know more & see how the public can help. I’m go glad this young man has hope & sees his worth. He’s right!
Jennifer, thank you for interest! Please feel free to reach out to us through info@georgiaopportunity.org and check out the work we're doing to get people back to work at georgiaopportunity.org/work/.
I'm glad when you got out you realized you're worth it and was able to find yourself a good job. Proud of you Kevin and I hope your story inspires more people to seek out their worth.
This man brings with him a work ethic. I just watched the movie "Over The Top" again. Stallone says, "The world meets nobody halfway." This man has the audacity to work for what he wants, fuck yeah! I wish you luck! Go get it!
What this should be is a critique of the failed "Great Society" policies of LBJ and other liberal Democrats who failed this woman's grandmother 55 years ago. As retired teacher, I can almost assure you she was an average student in high school, pushed to college, failed college, got into debt. Was lucky to get a job with the state of Georgia. Start leaning on your families. Raise man up by not easily lying down with them. These men will follow the pv$$y and do what they need to to get it. Start getting married early, stay married, don't have children until you're married. Get a job, keep a job, any job. It's not that complicated. I met a "brotha" in the ER, 34 years old, bragged about being married, wife, two kids kids. Needed to get well so we can go back to the job he'd gotten when he was 22 years old, same job 12 years. Property management. Degree in accounting. This s*** can work.
I'm trying to feel for this woman, have never suffered like her. But she's a mother of four without a husband and a father for her children. Do the "Great Society failure" math. ... this woman looks about 40. Even if she got pregnant when she was 17 should have been married 23 years. At some point I don't feel sorry for her.
@@GeorgiaopportunityOrg let's say I have an ounce of compassion. Let's say the problem starts with her upbringing. By this I mean where was HER father, where was the role model that gave her the choice to find the right man in the first place? And if she had a father what other choices did she make? And 4 kids? You can't go to Planned Parenthood for the few people they help with birth control? At some point I call "enough" to sympathy. And even if she made the right choice but the guy turned out to be a bum, where was her family? And where was all the liberal help from all the leftists who want to prosecute some wife-beater? In other words, all of the problems start with her environment, her choices, and a lack of Liberal help.
@@GoodmanMIke59 It is why we stress the need for all elements of the "Success Sequence" which is access to Family (which you reference) support, Work, and quality education. There are many factors or barriers that must be addressed. Our goal as an organization, and as individuals must be to address the barriers one at a time.
@@GeorgiaopportunityOrg You're overthinking this. The only barrier I can think of is individual responsibility married to cooperation with those you trust, those directly in your life. With the internet and a library card there is ZERO excuse for lack of quality education. It comes down to pointing some kid's nose into a book, giving him something to do with his hands. I taught from age 38 to 54. I caught a shop class. The only public policy that should be changed is to dismantle the Department of Education and neuter teacher unions. Then have the money follow the child.
So I'm not sure about the message here. Is this promoting people to lift themselves out of poverty despite the system slapping us around or is this a critique of the system that actively discourages people to better their lives and expressing a want to change the systems we have in place that hinder success?
Great question. To be honest, it is a bit of both. We are always working to encourage people to rise above a broken system, but we acknowledge and are actively working to address the issues in that system. We work to educate legislators and with local entities to help identify the barriers that people are facing, so that they can and will be changed.
@@GeorgiaopportunityOrg thank you for the response. What an amazing message! I hope your organization achieves its goals and I wish you all success in the future

@@Jey0Why you do not care one bit about my opinion? (Most likely) ... Or you do not care one bit about this woman's pain? Or you don't care one bit about history? Or you don't care about liberal failures and will keep on voting Democrat? (Bear in mind the Republicans are just as bad.) Or you do not care one bit about fixing the problem? Or you don't care that she's got four children and no man? You don't care that the nuclear family is dissolving? You don't care that the Black Folk have been screwed over for years by democrat city policy? You don't care that a significant number of blacks are on to Liberals? About what, exactly, is it you don't care one bit?
Just spit-balling here, but might the economic degradation in Youngstown have something to do with the fact that all the steel and auto manufacturers decided to stop employing people? This is all transparently ideological twaddle.
rfweber--Exactly. I was a VP of manufacturing. And spent a lot of time in these cities and many others JUST LIKE THEM. When they moved all the jobs out in the 1980's thru today, fathers no longer could provide for the families. Either Move (If you could) or you turn to crime. Families without gainfully employed fathers, disintegrate QUICKLY--that is what happened in these cities and cities across the country. These guys seemed to have missed the Root cause staring them right in the face. They want to blame the families and LAID OFF fathers and mothers and children born into poverty. THEY DON'T WANT TO BLAME THE REAL CULPRITS. it could hurt there funding. "Poverty is the mother of all crime '--Marcus Aurelius------M
this is the kind of absurd analysis you get from wholesale, unthinking adoption of say's law (probably without every even understanding say's law let alone why it is not, in fact, a law)
I ❤ this 1M times! I am so sorry you had to go through this hell. I service students with special needs, and this troubles me greatly. I love that he found a safe place. This warms my heart as a special education teacher. #IWillFightLikeHellfor SpecialNeedsStudents
