It does not quite work this way with the dongle... It required a software to be installed and a user should have not only have rights to do so, but also need to have access to USB. Furthermore, 4k is not quite 4k and if you just slightly move away from the base, your 4k video pixelates. To add more, not sure how the dongle should work on Apple devices and once the software is installed, sometimes you need to connect to the base's WiFi SSID instead of your inhouse WiFi to get it work... Not quite so sight forward and you need to run arround it all the time to keep it going..
