Just an HVAC apprentice who likes to buy tool! I mainly started this channel because when I was looking to buy certain tools, I couldn't always find a review of them. So I started this channel to make tool reviews and I hope that my reviews and videos help you out! On this channel, we take a look at all kinds of different tools from manufactures in the USA to Germany. Every tool that is reviewed on this channel is purchased by myself. If a product or tools is sent to me, I will be sure to disclose that information. I hope you enjoy the content! Contact me at this email! thetoolreviewguy96@gmail.com
I have the exact same pair for 2 yrs now and I don’t use them every day, but funny I just used them the other day cutting a metal staple after I removed a electrical box and they worked absolutely amazing
You have to wonder if Mr Klein stole Mr. Milwaukee's wife or something. Its hard to think of any other reason they would start just making copies of the Klein line that just look and feel like nothing more than quick knock-offs.
Stated to be capable of cutting hard wire, piano wire.....not tested for that? .....I'm interested in it's ability to do those tasks because most diagonal pliers and end cutters for sale and all my side cutter edges break off like a crispy cookie even when cutting protruding staples used in plastic welding.
I can't reccommend these enough for home owners. They have a use for almost everything. I just had to fix my dryer and I used that and the 27-in-1 Klein screwdriver for 90% of it. I even used my impact driver with it. I've used them so much around the house and it's nice to bring just a couple of tools to do the job
The Klein Handles on all of theirs are just so nice. This Milwaukee handle is really nice too. The other multi bit driver Milwaukee handles suck. The Flip sockets for Klein are the same as Vaco and the flip sockets for Milwaukee are Malco flip sockets. They are nicer than the Kleins, IMO. They also sell the Malco flip sockets at HD. They come in Metric in that style. Klein does have Metric flip sockets for theirs as well.
These all suck. waaaay too heavy. try manipulating delicate 5/16 box screws with a fat 1.5in steel rod. You don't. just get a small socket/ratchet set.
Just an FYI Klein took a deal to be exclusive with Lowes. Home Depot reached out to Milwaukee to see if they had interest in making electrical tools to be exclusive to the Home Depot. They invested over 100 mil to design and create it all.
Klein only signed an exclusive deal with Lowe’s was because Home Depot started insert Milwaukee products onto Klein’s space, that they were paying for. So Klein didn’t like it, decided to terminate contract and move over to Lowe’s
a good test is 1/4 20 screws.....i have a pair of these and no problem....they are a bit shorter than my kliens.....love the knipex 10 inch but they seem to chip at the end {brittle}....
Those screwdriver handles are garbage. If you try to torque down or untorque a stubborn screw/bolt, the black plastic piece will spin freely separating itself from the hard plastic surrounding it. Worthless. Buy wera
I don't find them garbage cause I find the handles Good for comfort and torque (to me) but everyone to each his own opinion so I like Klein tools. I have their mod box tools and they work great.
Hating on Klein is the new virtue signal lol the Klein 11-1 impact is the goat. Wera makes some nice tools but they don’t make screwdriver that matches the 11-1 impact.
@@fabiantaveras8458 you did not read what I said. My personal experience on the very first day I bought the 20 in 1 version and I was trying to loosen a bolt and the black rubber literally separated from the yellow plastic rendering the screwdriver useless. You tell me what’s good or bad?
@@vhockada it’s obviously bad that it happened but also in my experience this has never happened me nor has it happened to any of my other co workers. Sounds like you had a lemon which if you did buy it recently you could have returned it and got a new one back.
I’ve bough a few Wera screwdriver sets. They make a. Ice screwdriver but I’m also a big Klein Tools guy. My service bag for work is pretty much all Klein right now. Now I’ve had a few problems with Klein in the past but nothing the warranty couldn’t cover.
From what I’ve tested with both pairs, I’m going to be honest. I’m almost positive it’s the same size wire stripper on both tools. It’s just labeled in metric.
Imfrom the uk and bought the american version of these a couple years ago and much preferred it to the other european style they had over here. Was annoyed they didnt have it in metric at the time but i guess they do now ^_^
Why not use them the right way? Put your wire end into tool then push wire into wire end and crimp. It holds the wire end while you put wire excatly where you want it. The way you did it, is much harder and doesnt crimp near as good!
Que significa los mangos color amarillo?? Según Klein el amarillo lo utilizan para identificar las pinzas cónicas o de punta pero por lo que veo es mentira
The 180 ones with comfort grip are the best tool I’ve ever had. Can’t imagine plumbing without them. Good for other applications too - pulling small nails, bending/ twisting, crimping, all sorts of stuff. 86..180 and 87..250 are the perfect combo for almost everything where you need to grip/turn something
