Case 2: crossing situation rule 15 applies.I am a giveway vessel, trgt vessel is a standon vessel. I will sound one short blast bold alteration to stbd pass stern of trgt vsl Case 3: as per rule 18 pdv should keep clear of fishing vessel. So I am responsible i can alter to port or stbd by giving appropriate blast Case 4: as per rule 18 I am responsible to keep clear of fishing vessel and for pdv as per rule 13overtaking I am responsible to keep clear so in this case I will sound 2short blast make bold alteration to port Case 5: as per 13 nuc is responsible to keep clear however rule 2 in construing and complying with rule limitation of vessel involved make dept. from this rule as per 2b I am responsible to keep clear i will sound 2 short blast alter course to port. Requirement of sextant is mandatory but of all the vessels i have sailed only 1 or 2 ships had working sextant .Rest all of them were damaged😂 .No body even use those things
