Whiskey Tango Farms is a small family-owned hobby farm located right smack dab in the middle of Wisconsin. It all started on Easter of 2018 with 2 baby chicks. Chicken math quickly took over and it wasn't long before we were smuggling chickens into the backyard of our home which was located within the city limits. We purchased our first home in September of 2020 and immediately started expanding our little flock into something more. Quail were soon added, a tractor was purchased and now we are just going with the flow and following the journey God has planned for us. Things have been progressing quickly but we are loving the hobby farm/homesteading life and can't wait to see where we end up! Follow us on our journey of unknowns! With love, Brandon & Kristin.
Was great until the 5 min mark but right around there now I am struggling to hear her mumble to herself…..please use a microphone or practice projecting your voice.
I've been researching quail for a couple months. I was torn between coturnix and button. I wanted them for meat and egg production, but also to enjoy inside the house. I learned about the smell of the coturnix, but also the very, very small eggs of the button. But the buttons are so cute and colorful, want them! I finally decided to have both! I'm going to build an outside larger aviary for the jumbo coturnix (meat and eggs) and a small inside aviary for the buttons (pets and a few eggs).
Fantastic video. You said the glue you use is more suitable for outdoor use than Gorilla glue, what brand do you use ? Also what size dowels (diameter & length) do you use ?
Love your videos and thanks so much!! Where's the best way to start, buying eggs online or buying grown quail somewhere else (and where?)? Can you use a regular incubator for the eggs or does it have to be a specific one?
Thanks for sharing! How many minutes do you boil your eggs and why do you stir them while boiling?? Cause I've never heard of such when boiling any type of egg. Thanks
Could you please tell me how to hook up two 75watt elecaenta solar panels in parallel. I am confused. Because it only has the one 10foot line coming out of it. If you can help me here I will appreciate it so so much. Thank you again sir
I live in Utah and look forward to meeting Kelli. My hatching of eggs and 4 cages for mating and large growout cage plus brooder cage is working great. I want to expand my colors so I have a lot to learn. This will be my first winter with quail as I have them outdoors while my chicken coop is a nice 80 degrees. I have questions on feed and water during winter as we get 6 feet living on the Nordic Valley Ski Resort. It’s brutal so don’t know how winter will go. Kelli seems so cool. Thx WTF you rock
