im an aspiring game developer and animator (i love doing both). ive been into gamedev since mid 2021, and animation like 2-3 years prior (my animation skills still suck lol). You can expect to see a bunch of video related to game dev, like devlogs, video essays, and maybe even animations. Videos related to anything else will go up on my second channel that I recently made.
I usually use Blender as my main 3D modeling/animation software, and Krita as my 2d art/animation software. Also, i used to use the Unity game engine for a couple years, but i decided to switch to using Unreal Engine because of the Unity Runtime fee. I'll still use Unity if its absolutely necessary, though.

Really good video man. I feel like you've got some good potential on youtube so keep at it. The animation and art in the vid are unique and fun and I loved hearing abt your gamedev journey. If you look into getting better audio recording equipment and keep refining and perfecting your style and delivery I see you growing on youtube extremely fast.
@arigaberman8319 I already ordered a Samson Q2U, which according to YT reviews is a really good mic for only $70. It seemingly also comes with a stand and pop filter, which is nice Thanks for the suggestion though :)
I found this game and the first thing I did was blow the plant up, when it blew, I was walking away like I was in a movie Edit:it was also night time, so the blast illuminated the sky
Im aware that the 5% royalty after $1M in revenue is more than what the current Runtime Fee is looking like. Also, i dont really see any of my games ever reaching that threshold unless it becomes a HUGE hit, similar to A Hat In Time or Among Us Ive also kinda lost all of Unity's trust as a company. Theyre a public company, and is able to be controlled by shareholders, not the company itself if i umderstand correctly (pls correct me if im wrong). So who knows when theyre gonna change their business model, throwing everyone under the bus again? I also think UE5 is a way better engine than Unity so far of me using it. It has many quality of life features that Unity just doesn't have and I really enjoy using Blueprints, partially becuse of how much its built into the engine, on top of many other things Sorry for the wall of text lol 🫠
