The Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme is the Australian Government's new integrated approach to its Pacific labour mobility initiatives, the Seasonal Worker Programme and the Pacific Labour Scheme. The PALM scheme allows approved employers in rural and regional Australia to recruit workers from 9 Pacific island countries and Timor-Leste when there are not enough local workers available.

Thank you Australia farmers for giving the people of Solomon Islands opportunity to get jobs in tje seasonal worker scheme to support their families. Helpim friend as the theme of RAMSI when they came to bring peace is Solomon Islands during the unrest in the country.
Black birding upper house, smiling with love while you twist the knives. This is a rotten propaganda piece. Forgive me but I’m glad the upper house must run and hide not knowing if the earth will save them. It gives me peace otherwise there’d be none.
Remember the good all days in mildura panpipe group. We are so proud to be part of the seasonal program in 2017 promoting the seasonal program in Solomon Islands.
Hello guys and how is the job going over there? Please l am a hard working guy from Africa seeking for farm job to migrate to Australia, any job for me there?
Good to hear Solomon Islands are being recognised for their seasonal work in the NT. I went to the Bacon Festival held in Kingaroy in Qld and found there were a good number of Solomon Islanders working there in abattoirs and the coal powered electricity generation. In Innisfail (North Qld) i found many from Vanuatu involved in banana picking. I would hope these Pacific Islanders get money to benefit their families back home, but also learn things that can benefit their villages when they return home.
