Another prime example of man screwing with natural genetics! This is why we face so many problems now with farming! I grew up on grass fed beef because we were to poor to finish them on grain and the meat was tough as hell! I will take the grain fed ribeye every time now without the chemicals added?!
With irrigation this could be seeded no till right into the wheat stubble or other small grain right after combine is done. Plenty of dry matter for them

Why couldn't you put a warm weather grass in that seed mix? It would have frost killed and provided the dry matter required to balance the feed ration?

TTV Gush I hunt up in the Northeast not too far off from the Adirondacks. But I planted T Raptor as an additive for my food plots and a deer devastated it within the first two weeks of October. Nights were getting under 50 degrees but nowhere near Frost. May have just been my area low food source first year we hunted up there we planted corn deer hit it's so bad it look like sticks grown out of the ground like bamboo it was pitiful.
Great video, lots of information! Do you let the radishes die at frost and compost in the field? I'm thinking about cover cropping in a small garden area (>1000sqft) and I'm wondering if the smell of decomposing radishes will be too much.
