Wrestling (mainly WWE) talk, opinion and laughs from Raj, with special guest appearances from his daughter Talia! You don't need an opinion you've already got.
Appreciate the video from a different prospective personally really enjoyed the show definitely had some drawbacks with some matches but overall a great ppv for me
Mainly because we had a once in a lifetime experience and got front row tickets to MITB in London last year! Bianca we bumped into at event close to wrestlemania and we bumped into Mama Rhodes at Glasgow airport the morning after Clash at the Castle!!
Awesome video. Really hope she cherishes these moments. Best I got near that age was The British Bulldog DBS signing a black and white photo in Woolworths. 😂
@@gwewrestlingtalk just did. Says Goldberg not to blame. History writes it that he ended his career but he fought 10 times after that kick. The kick looked gentle too. Says he was in no fit form to fight and suffered with concussions.
Great video. Definitely remember the Friday Night Wars that we had here in the UK. Always remember walking home after working on a Friday evening and seeing every other house between 10pm and midnight watching sky sports. (Raw is War) I never remember much about WCW before the late 90s. It always seemed as kids that WWF was the main product on the market. However, have to give WCW credit for the high profile stars they did acquire. Shame the show just never felt as well produced or the storylines that compelling. Maybe I didn’t watch enough to appreciate it more. I do remember flicking over though, watch some of the NWA, or Marcus A Bagwell and Big Poppa Pump hilariously trying to outdo each other on the way to the ring. A big deal at the time seemed to be Bill Goldberg. Even as a kid, I just remember the hype about his streak was loud, but he didn’t really have any chat. His matches could be watched during the commercial break of the competition and he gave no compelling reason to stay watching after it. Without watching the documentary, I’d guess he played a part in killing WCW by injuring half the roster! 🙈 Will definitely take a look at the documentary though. Thanks.
Not seen the documentary yet but you brought up fond and sad moments from WCW. I think what killed WCW initially was there was no plan B for what would happen when the NWO storyline died down. Red and black did not quite work.
Yeah agree, they put everything into that storyline and should have used it’s momentum to forward other storylines and push other stars rather than just the main eventers
I hate to say it but Logan Paul just adds something extra to a match. You want to hate him but unfortunately he is too amazing to ignore. Just thinking, has Rhodes even had a match that is only average or below. Just been amazing since his return several years ago. Agreed, Morgan has definitely improved since her return. She has made slow but steady improvements over the years. Last weekend showed her hardwork in improving her ring skills paying off. She got her character down for several years now so that’s not an issue. Was getting excited for the possible return of Captain Howdy. Maybe another time, possible Clash. PPV (I can’t never call it anything else), in Scotland would be mad not to have McIntyre in the main event. Am joining you both next year somehow, expect a nice Prime treat for Talia from the cool Uncle (that’s what I tell myself to feel better)
Thanks for the predictions. The only two I could confidently make wereK ing Gunther (more of a hope) and Cody. The rest I just couldn’t tell. As for Liv, her rap game has raised her 1000 times in my view. Better than Meek!😂 Your cat Blue is clearly a fan of Marti Jannetty… Look forward to the review show.
You were spot on with your predictions you did make! Liv's rapping has been watching in this house about a thousand times! Review show now live here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Od6JrU-eTbY.html
Sorry dude, was shopping in Tesco when you went live. May follow you and Talia’s lead and order pizza for Backlash. Pizza Hut? Domino’s? Papa John? Pizza GoGo? I actually prefer less matches thus easier to invest emotionally. Am curious about Tonga’s premium live event debut. Grew up watching his Father Haku. Owen’s maybe the most over wrestler in France due to his French-Canadian background. I think it’s an excellent idea to have these event abroad as these crowds are more appreciative as they rarely get these or never.
@@gwewrestlingtalk why don’t you film yourselves watching Backlash and then create a video which is maybe maximum 20 minutes long of both your epic reactions. Good or bad idea?
And here I am, someone who preferred the matches to the drama. No, seriously, I'd always leave the TV when the matches were over, because that's what I liked to watch.
Needed the winter wear - made it a lot more enjoyable then if I was in a t shirt! What was your favourite moment? Favourite match? Did you it live up the hype for you?
37m video, this just have taken forever to edit. Your winter outfit made me laugh so much but smart at the same time. I definitely think the cold was a factor as the crowd reactions were much louder on day 2. I also felt this event reinvigorated super babyfaces in Sami Zayn and LA Knight.
When Talia told you to sit on the jacket you idiot, I laughed out aloud. If I was her, I would say to you “Daddy, beat 50 kart wheels?!”. Which by the way in impressive for a small child. Talia deserves a Prime KFC flavour, Daddy stop being mean.
