Anyone from the USA wins Diamond Finals next year in the 100m or 200m doesn’t get a bye to Worlds. Noah has the bye in both as the World Champion in both events. Too 3 at USA’s will qualify to Worlds, with Noah going with them. This actually happened to Noah in 2019. He won 100m Diamond League that year but did not get a bye since Gatlin was the defending world champion from 2017.
Noah has the bye via world champion so coleman can’t go unless he gets top 3 at usa trials. If Andre from Canada won the diamond league final and didn’t make his Canadian team for whatever reason then he would go since the reigning world champion is not Canadian.
Good luck the 300m training is smart. I could not break 23 in 2023 but adding the 300m in the winter even though I ran only one 300m which was a personal best of 35.93 allowed me to run in the 22s twice in indoors with a PB of 22.40 and then run 22s 7 times in outdoor with a 22.58 PB into a -1.5 headwind !!! I think if you can run under 35.50 you are well on your way under 22 seconds in the 200m
Good thing Kenny was there to take the spoils as Tebogo slipped up. He's been consistently coming second and finally he gets that sweet diamond league win. I'm happy for him and I think Tebogo is just tired, the body failed him.
If there is anyone who had the best chance (and deserves) to win, besides Tebogo, it was Kenny. I am happy for him. He has been so consistent this season.

Here is the math of how it works. If you run say a 10.00 PR(for ease of calculations) and bring your 99% game that day, then you are off 1%. That 1% equates to 0.10 second which is a HUGE difference in a 100 meter race. The person beside you may have brought their 100% game and the race is over. Or they could have even brought their 101% game and made a new PR. Plus and minus 1% is a huge deal..
Fred's start at the olympics was an outlier without that he wouldn't have medalled. If 2022 Fred got a start like that he would have probably run low 9.7.
