What's the initialization process for one that's stuck in the open position? I've been fighting with one for 2 days. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
And I know you would need parts so I just come across Marketplace there's a Lincoln limousine $1,000 is all they want for it what year it is I have no idea it looks clean no rust like but with the ideal for parts to fix your parents car Maybe. Subject for you to chew on. Vo-Tech School the students need cars to train on
Hey my friend I just thought of something. Maybe your parents car could still be fixed if you wanted to take the car to a Vortex School and with the students train on the car
Glad your parents are ok . They don't make cars like they use to . They were build tough back in our days .they were made to last. Takes at hit but keeps on running.
Yes, they love it and actually bought another one. I simply haven't had time to get any videos done since you got back from Dearborn. I still have a couple of videos from up there to post.
I'm sorry about all the trolls and haters - I am a 20 year old kid, and I am learning to drive, and I plan to try my best not to be reckless or dangerous when I get my license - I care about everyone else as well as my own reputation, and I never want to hurt anybody. And I understand all your emotions you were feeling - I get emotional sometimes too - over much smaller and sillier things than this! And yes, I am not impressed with that kid's behavior - it makes me genuinely sad that my generation seems so twisted - I often try not to follow in the footsteps of my peers - I think imitating older people feels way better! Not gonna lie - I love these older cars - I am saving for a first car, and this is my kind of car - I have been looking at older Buicks and Pontiacs - I found a very tempting 1992 Buick Park Avenue for sale - 58,000 original miles, garage kept... wow! It may not still be there when I finish saving, but I hope for an older car, and it makes me happy to see that some people still use these - if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I will never buy a new car unless some manufacturer offers a basic, stripped-down model without all the tech - maybe even with manual windows!
I'm glad to hear that there's some good ones out there like you. This is scary times seeing how these kids are turning out. Thank you for the words of encouragement!
um. they wont last after 100,000/ ,my father bought a 85 ed station wagon used. i think 20.000. we had for 13 yrs. and put 450.000 but it had problems after the ten yr mark for three long yrs it would stall around the corner of house when he turns corner, restarts "just a few seconds" it dies again before you hit a four way strop and you have to repeat this, the trans was junk. my dad keeps telling me the car is ok like it doesnt take rocket scientst to junk it sell get a new car. its like embarrassing. i am sure the cops will give one to two breaks then he or they wil memorize the license plate and your ife wil be in there hands till its gone. my dad thinks its ok to have tons of cars behind you honking their horns for you get your car gping and not stopping so early often you name it,
I have a 1989 Lincoln town car with a sunroof, unfortunately I am having a really hard time finding the headliner for it, it didn’t have one when I bought it.

I don't blame your mother for not wanting a newer car after watching the video of them after the accident i can tell those old Towncars are much safer and more reliable
Thank you! The last few videos have really brought out the morons! I really got attacked for explaining why we didn't want the blue car out on the East Coast. Apparently, there's a few guys in love with that, Anthony guy who's name I never even mentioned. 🙄
Yo Hi Tony from Warren on the eage😅of the D Mi 😅😮 hey thanks for sharing your time and video of some important Details about Detroit History 💕 I grew up in the D 😅 and thanks I learned something 👍🤩🙏
You're welcome! The D is my favorite city. I hope you know how lucky you are to have grown up around so much rich automotive history. Stay tuned for more. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Another great video Mr. Tony! You have really captured the spirit of the day with all the different cars driving around as they did in the 1920’s & 1930’s. It makes us appreciate the Old Car Festival even more. There is a lot of work to making these so we want to thank you for all your hard work and great job you are doing. Roseann & Dan
Thanks, D & R! The next Old Car Festival video will have you guys in it. I'm having a really hard time getting caught up from being gone and am way behind on videos. Then, the next one will be adding intermittent wipers to an 86 F250! 😏
This has happened to both of my rear door window switches. Drivers side about 6 years ago and passenger side now. Both times it was the wiring harness coming apart. I fixed it the same way as the video. Bought a cheap soldering iron from harbor freight and soldered any wire that looked like it was decaying.
I myself am a high schooler, and I've always wanted a box panther but when I couldn't find one in my area last year I ended up with a mint condition all original aero 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with 73k original miles, she's been a great car and I know for certain I'm not getting rid of her, however my dream car, a 1989 Ford LTD Crown Victoria in S trim with the P72 Police Package and the 351 Windsor motor recently popped up for sale in my area, this is the first I've ever seen a 1988 or 1989 LTD Crown Victoria S P72 (not a fan of the 1990-1991 model dashboard/airbag steering wheel, but I like the 1989's the most because of the rear pillar trim) pop up for sale period, I've looked all throughout the midwest since I was around 12 or 13 (so around 3 to 4 years ago), but had never had any luck locating one, and then to have one pop up for sale in my area, I'm certain that it's meant to be, while it needs a few things done to it, it's nothing too major, and fortunately (which is the cherry on top), it never saw the hard life of marked patrol duty, it was actually purchased somehow by a civilian even though it's a P72 Police Package, meaning it has no spotlight holes drilled in it, no lose wires hanging everywhere, no antenna holes, no lightbar holes, and the worst thing it's got is very minor surface rust and and bald tires on 90-97 Town Car rims LOL (which I'll be changing back to the factory steelies and giving it white walls and the old Ford Motor Company Police Hubcaps with the black band around them), in think what sparked my interest in these cars, namely the 79-89 model panther cars was the fact that my grandma had a 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria LX with the factory locking wire wheel covers, white walls, and a half vinyl roof like this one.
That is a beauty! I had a Country Squire back in the 80's, but it was an older model, a 72, with non hide away headlights. Great cars, and powerful. I also had a Ford Torino wagon for a while, which was another nice one, but not near as "posh" as the Country Squire. Personally, I think it was a terrible mistake doing away with station wagons, but how can you argue about it, when you consider just how popular the "mini-van" vehicles that replaced them have been. What I found especially nice about the old wagons was that you got all that extra room, but when driving it, it drove just like you were driving a nice LTD four door, BUT you had all that extra room, AND comfortable seating for 8 people when using the jump seats in the rear.
I clearly reached in and pulled the cables to release the top and bottom. I guess you skipped over that part! Look at all of the comments to see how many people this video has helped.
Miss my Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. Druggie ex busted the windows and dash out of it 34 years ago. She's not worth going to prison over. If one of her more recent exes finds out where she lives hes vowed to visit her. Apparently she flattened tires and broke windows out of 15 or so of his dad's customers cars in the shop lot.
