recently ordered this tacklebox and i just picked it up and when i unboxed it the lid was not attached. Does that mean its broken or can the top lid be snapped on and off?

Hey, Plano! How about a box that I can slot these Edges into? If Plano Edge boxes were “folders”, maybe sell a small box as the “filing cabinet” that could hold 4 or 5. I stow 4 under my seat, but they’re noisy and get shuffled around a lot, so I gotta juggle them in my lap.

I have one huge problem with these boxes. The edge that closes, for some reason, warps and I have to use a heat gun to soften it and use a piece of wood to bend it back until it cools. I have 3 of them (the larger 3700 I believe) and 2 do this and I don't know why. While I am in the sun I am up north not in Florida type heat either.
I have one and really like it, my only complaint is that I think at least one of the eva molded pockets should have slots for tools to sit in instead of just being wide open spaces. I'd love a spot to put a pair of pliers, scissors, and other various tools so they aren't just freely sitting in the pockets.
I live and fish on the Gulf coast & I own 3 Edge boxes: a standard 3700 flex which serves as the “mothership” of all my lures, and 2 go with me. A 3700 standard for surf casting lures (over 1 oz) and a 3700 terminal that I made into an inshore hybrid for jig heads & lures like plugs, swim baits, jerk baits etc. I love this line of gear, it really suits how I think & organize.
One thing missing is three long horizontal dividers. If I had some long plastic worms and wanted to divide it up into four long compartments. They included so many of the other dividers and left out the ones I needed. Would be nice if you come out with them as an accessory.
I wish they would have designed it like the Hydro Flo with the internal divider system in the main compartment. That would have been the icing on the cake
