😳Dude!!!!…….this is another great idea, I’m definitely going to do this because I ordered the exact same batteries you had in the other video I seen, so I’m definitely going to need a fan for the ESC. Hope you make more videos about R/C content because it’s very helpful. 😌🤘🏻
Thanks, but i can't take credit for the idea. After tons of researching on RC cars, this hot wired style fan is one of the things I came across. After spending waaay too much time researching RU-vid, i figured I'd put out some vids to hopefully help others who also have purchased the ol'Temu BeastMax , and maybe save them some time too.
Man I have a Beast Max coming Monday that I ordered & I’m doing a lot of mods to it when I receive it, anyways this video gave me the most info that I could find on RU-vid as far as the workings & inside look of this RC. Especially body lift work, wheels, & shocks. I’ve watched this video probably 4 or 5 times already lol. Thanks for making a very detailed video about this, it was extremely helpful. 😌🤘🏻🤘🏻
@EduardoDudu-um8in I got the fan from Amazon. Which does not plug straight into the battery!!. You'll have to wire your own plug to the fan with abattery charging cable, if you have a spare charging cable to spare. I show how to do this in this video.
@EduardoDudu-um8in RC Cooling Fan 1/10 35mm 21000RPM 8.4V Aluminum ESC Motor Cooling Fan Heatsink for RC Car 1/8 1/10 Scale 3650,3660,3670 Brushless Motor (Black+Silver) a.co/d/6DHUqwn This is the fan that we got. I would think that any RC Car type of fan would work though. Just follow the step from the video 👍
@EduardoDudu-um8in just making sure that you know...the fan does not plug straight into the charging port on the battery. Once you buy the fan , you have to cut the plug off of a charging cable and wire it up yourself to the fan.
Hey mate, first time viewer of your channel as I was interested in getting the brushed version of this buggy off Amazon. The thing is a beast with those mods. Also, please don't take this the wrong way, but your daughters driving is actually very good for her age, maybe even better than your driving! She has great throttle control going 35-50% cruising around the parking lot, and going 100% at open areas. When I let my niece drive my buggy she goes 20% most times and 100% into walls all the time, and most kids just go 100% into gutters and obstacles. Anyway, I just thought that should be commended and who knows, with a bit of nurturing she could be a world champion one day. Cheers from Australia 👍
@guentherfranzsemmler7245 this is the one I purchased. You have to paint it yourself. Or you can search for one that is already painted, but it will cost more. J Concepts Inc. 1982 GMC K10 Traxxas 1/16th E-Revo Clear body JCO0382 Car/Truck Bodies wings & Decals a.co/d/iHxXd3u
@jaymyers9899 not gonna lie, the body was kind of a pain in the @sz. Mostly because I didn't want to mess it up, all the tiny decal stickers and getting the window tape lined up for paint. It was a bit of a task for me but it turned out ok. The tricky part was gettin the body to sit right because the front bumper causes the wheel wells to be pushed back and not line up right over top of the wheels. But I got it the best I could.🛻 🤔📐
@@jeanmason8211 the research I've done you probably shouldn't go any bigger than these. They are 70mm from hole to hole. Make sure you order 2 pair, because they come in a set of 2 not 4 !! 👍
@@jeanmason8211 FYI, it takes a week or two to be delivered from temu, but for $3 a pair ya can't beat it. Also you might want to get a little bottle of shock oil just in case one or two of the shocks you end up getting don't have enough oil in them , it happened to me.
@@ChrisSpencer-ut7wu thanks and were I can get the oil because am not seeing it on temu. I live in the Caribbean so can you send me a link were to find the shocks oil
@@jeanmason8211 Team Losi Racing SILICONE SHOCK OIL 60WT 810CST 2OZ TLR74014 Electric Car/Truck Option Parts a.co/d/0jbw34we This is the oil that I bought. I'm a beginner in the RC world so I can't say that this fluid is the best, but it seems to be working pretty good for us. Still a little bouncy, but way better than what it was before, and those shocks will give you more ground clearance also. 👍
@zeppdogg does your esc have the screw down mounting tabs or is it the esc without the tabs? I've heard of people running 3s on both style esc's, but the ones without the mounting tabs hold up better to more voltage ⚡️ . Our esc's have those mounting tabs, So I've been a little hesitant on slapping a 3s in them. But I did mount fans that plug into the charging port of the battery, wich may keep the esc's cool enough for 3s. You should check out our vid on wiring a fan up to the beast max, cheap and easy, and will definitely help keep your esc cooler.
@ChrisSpencer-ut7wu yea it has screw tabs. I have overheated running hard through grass. It shuts off with blinking lights. Cut it off and cut back on then it's a live again. Might be a fail safe
@zeppdogg ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dTQryQIoYs0.htmlsi=wBc5x38qJbYS6SKU Check this out, your esc might not shut off on you if you do this. Or it still might shut off, I will soon find out as soon as I can fit a couple 3s batteries into the budget 👍
@i_am_pat_rick3772 I got these from Temu, they are 70mm from hole to hole. They come in a set of 2, so you have to order 2 pair to get the whole set of 4. Here is the link to the exact ones that I have on both cars. share.temu.com/QqNB7vyJ8ZA
The Geo , the marshmallow on wheel barrel tires. Whats crazy is this rc truck would blow the doors off of that metro.... all 8.5 horsepower it was packin.
