I started this Channel to have a way to upload my Wing chun videos to be evaluated for the online Wing Chun distant learning I was doing (IWCMAA) which I highly recommend if you are interested. It took me about 1-1/2 years to complete. Now moving on (2024) I have decided to try and make regular uploads of my interest (which vary and change quite often) or whatever comes to mind. Hopefully you find something helpful or amusing.
@@Networksandwoodworks Depends on the durability of the playfield. It could get damaged by commercial balls. You'd need to investigate a bit and see what commercial machines use, the material of the balls and construction of the unit, and make a determination if the MD Sports could handle the extra abuse. Not just the playfield, but the scoring area as well. All I know is these balls are garbage.
@@pdxmetal Thanks, I just got mine last night (I'm still putting it together) but the balls are smaller than the commercial one, but Im still going to order an original and try it. Im also working on a project to get rid of the original cpu and scoring and build a new one using a microcontroller and get sound samples of the original game.
@@SirTjames I was only able to get a 6" diameter PVC...distributors near me would only sell 20ft minimum of the 8". I like the template idea to get the holes lined up on the front and the back. I appreciate the offer though.
Hi, nice work on your dummy. How is the stand holding up with the pvc cap.?I was thinking about running a 4x4 on my stand like how the Warrior wing chun people do what do you think about their idea
TJames 66 hi, sorry to bug you again but what is the distance between the 2 top arm holes ? because I notice you put a gap. And also do I make the trunk to my height or do I do the 60” and then add spacers? I’m 5’10” .
utubepunk Sry just noticed u posted a comment, I just used rustoleum professional primer(gray) and safety red spray paint, like 3 coats of each. Still looks great. Thanks for the comment :)
@@SirTjames Hi, great job on the dummy. I am having similar qualms about not getting the holes accurate. Would be great to contact you via email as well to get the measurements. Would be very thankful.
@@SirTjames I tried that route already and was told I could only buy if I was a contractor. I built one out of 6" pvc. Yours is WAY cooler than mine!! nice work!!
