I ordered a Bk2 when they came out. Sold it a week later. Too damn heavy and not enough useful length to baton with. Not very useful weight. I considered a BK9, but after figuring in the price of replacement handle and sheath, it wasn't much of a value anymore , so I replaced it with an Esee Junglas.
Yeah the BK 2 is pretty much worthless unless you just want a knife to abuse. Honestly I’d rather have a cookery knife than a BK 9. But now that I own them both I have a hard time considering getting rid of them. Thanks for watching.

Thank for the review! Yea I saw a video made by Steve Kaeser that showed how he intended to use the kit. He frayed the jute cord with the "striker" and made it kind of frizzy. Then he put some of the shaved pieces of kindling on the jute. He put a spark to it and holy molly instant fire.🎉
Yeah I figured that I didn’t wrong to his specific operation procedures. But still a great little kit to get a fire going even if you do it wrong. It made the wheels spinning to try out other kits. Thanks for taking the time to write. Appreciate it.
Definitely handy indeed! Not sure if you have tried but I've been making my own fire starters for years out of milk cartons saw dust and wax. Can get the wax in bulk at craft stores, online or hit garage sales and buy up every cheap candle you can find. Can also do the same thing and start saving your dryer lint and use it in place of the saw dust. Much more bulky than what you got but I haven't cut kindling in many many years. Gotta love a good fire!
Good review of these types of stoves. I have a similar one, I got the Tomshoo branded one. These stoves work really well for burning hot. It's wet in the winter where I live so I bring wood pellets to burn in mine. They are pretty consistent and about a cup of them will give you enough fuel for your cooking needs. Thanks for the video😊
