...and I was like "okay I need to go get the grappling hook without a sword", I went and died way too many times. Thank you for this path. Especially because I didn't touch the game in a few months.
Ah, no fail mode. I was really wondering how you were planning on doing all that without getting hit. I did it normally. Let me tell you, that is an entirely different story
Easily the best guide with the best route. Thanks for making it. I didn't realize that the talisman would give the stick fire capability and was trying a bunch of more complicated things.
@@cliffsandcaves It says in the description "It is recommended to enable No Fail and No Stamina Restrictions in the accessibility settings to make the run easier". IOW, the game lets you turn off damage if you want to. And, like everything else in the game, it's part of the puzzle for how to do this challenge.
Important things missing in the video: 1. Set in the accessibility options no fail mode to on 1. Code for fire bomb (page 17) 3. Code for the locked door (page 43)
here are 3 options to go about it. 1) turn on the No Fail Mode in Accessibility settings (options) 2) make your way slowly killing the scavengers 3) practice your dodge game, if you run on the lowest border where the 3 snipers are at they won't target you immediately interacting with the chest nets you the achievement even if you die before getting the item
@@baylordeo3636 I found success going behind the first sniper, then between the first and second snipers, and making a large enough arc toward the chest to dodge the bullets with out rolling.
@@Arogrocks I used one of the targets as cover for their first volley and then started opening the chest before getting hit by the second. Died before I got the item, but I got the achievement anyway.
@@StumblesMcGee Thanks. I figured it out by reading an achievement guide of all things. Then the game told me about 5 hours later when I found the manual page O.o They really were ridiculously obscure with some of the stuff in this game for NO REASON! Witholding information about controls of all things to your player just seems very silly. Honestly think the game would be better without all the gibberish.
@@trautsj Uh... I know this comment is months old but... you do know the entire point of the game is that it obscures mechanics from you until you learn how to do them from the manual pieces or just figure them out by yourself, right? Like, the entire appeal of the game is discovering its secrets, some of which are whole new mechanics that completely recontextualise the entire experience and were only out of your reach due to lack of knowledge rather than gated in code.
