Agreed... but I think the coaches will be up front with him if there are transfers coming in and provide him with enough time to transfer out before being penalized next football season.
Minnesota is no joke they have 2 pass rushers #17 and #97 if our line doesn't learn how to block by then we are in trouble! I think Garrison Madden is ready to play now if needed✌️
Great Podcast Tim, Matt, and Mark Rogers!✌️ I'd like to see more plays for Carson T. His athletic abilities needs to be utilized more in offensive schemes.. Golden Gophers are legit, and for the Trojans this is a 4 quarters game for both teams. There's similarities in the performance of these two teams so far. Protection for Moss is crucial for a USC Victory🙌
The fact hes willing to red shirt now verses bailing out says hes got his head on right. Good for him. I mean right now he sits behind 3 seniors. Next year he steps in and is the guy. I don’t blame him at all. Lets just hope he doesn’t bail to the portal!
Totally agree. Raesjon is a dawg and a true Trojan and will have a massive impact next year as a starter. he has his head on straight and know what is best for him to get to the next level. We will see him playing on Sundays in the future for sure.✌️✌️✌️
LMFAO @ Josh Henson has a couple of weeks to get the O-line in order 😂😂😂😂Dude!!!! What you see is what you get!!!! Henson is not an elite recruiter, so what you see on the field in respect to the O-line is what you're going to see all season long!!! USC does not have the athletes in the O-line room because they don't have the recruits!!! They don't get elite O-lineman through recruiting nor the transfer portal because these players aren't attracted to Josh Henson!!! So therefore, USC has to settle for 3 star recruits in hopes that they pan out!!!! So, what you're seeing is 3 star kids who have size and were bigger than high school kids get dominated on the collegiate level!!! It has nothing to do with how young they are because none of these O-linemen will be starting at other places that are in championship contention!!!! This O-line is where it is because USC doesn't have the coach there that recruits respect!!!! This is literally one of the worse O-lines in the history of USC!!! Lincoln Riley needs a big hire there just like what he did with the D-line and coach Henny!! Crazy af how the entire United States of America tunes in to see Miller Moss get tee'd off on every Saturday because his O-line is a bunch of 3rd string starters. ✌✌
They aren’t making enough adjustments with that O line. RL needs to start keeping the RBs for max protect schemes. RL needs to cut it out with the dumb screen pass, look what happened to Lake McRee. I know other Big10 Ten teams are watching all the film on our 1st half slow starts.
On that 4th & 1' Lucas balled out. He made a Gentry play. Also on that same play #58 Solo was on the opposite side & also had some impact on that play too. After what Colors been through, I was so happy he was on the field celebrating that stop.
Matt's tendencies are to the negatives, Tim goes to the positive. I think it's a good balance. I am wired a little more like Tim but respect Matt's knowledge.
My new week 4 Rankings Mizz has played nobody rank no higher than 12th Miami shoulda lost to VT they should be no higher than 10th & Old Miss shoulda dropped to at least 18th. It never fails every season Matt focuses on where USC needs to improve and Tim only wants to focus on the positives. I do agree with Matt though we need to fix our problems if we want to finish 10-2
USC gave up 105 yards in rushing for the game (32 in the second half). There was only one run over 10 yards and that was an 18 run... not seeing what you are seeing from this game -- and except for the 65-yard run, USC shut down Michigan in the second half so I don't see it. - Tim
I was at the game and right before the game was about to end I saw Eric Gentry walking along the back of the end zone by himself & holding his helmet, looking up and waving at the crowd. He looked ok .. ✌🏽
Maybe Riley needs to start pulling guys who aren't focused from the start of games to get their attention to help avoid these slow starts to games. The team is a reflection of their coaches. Are the coaches not focused from the outset??🤔
This game went as I expected. A tricky matchup. USC woke up at halftime & averted disaster. I think the alternating home-&-away schedule these upcoming 5 wks is a big time test. I think SC has to go unscathed to stay in the playoff.
Lincoln Riley may not insist of giving the ball to Zack Branch ! If he keeps passing the ball to Z. Branch it will be disaster in the making. In this game, 3 significant plays to ZB were disastrous and all lost !
I've noticed with the top 15 teams that they play in halves whereas one team will play a great 1st half and play a lousy 2nd half. It's not just USC coming off slow, I noticed Georgia start off slow with some turnovers. Penn State didn't show much until the 2nd halve. #6 Ole Miss losing to Kentucky. USC plays tough in '24 as opposed to '23. SC has learned to make the necessary adjustments in the 2nd half. We have to play 4 quarters against Penn State to Win. We can't repeat the Michigan mistakes.✌️🔥
A win is a win...and we will take it.... But you cannot keep spotting opponents 2 scores at the half and keep adjusting your way to victory.......Show me a soft team in the first half and I will show you a soft, unprepared Head Coach
